This set of photos shot last year finally has the chance to be released; it had been gathering dust on my computer before, so I organized it all in one go for the Dendro Archon's birthday. The day of the shoot was actually overcast with very soft light, and in post-processing we applied some cool white adjustments to highlight the ethereal feel unique to Dendro. The costume was customized after a long search, with a lot of thought put into the patterns of the skirt and the details of the armbands. The wig also went through several versions, and finally I used a white wig with gradient green tips, paired with elf ears, which brought out the overall otherworldly vibe. The most troublesome part during that day's shoot was those glowing effects—there were no physical light strips on site, so it relied entirely on post-processing layer by layer. The surrounding green aura, the floating specks of light, and the starlight-like spots underfoot were all achieved through frame-by-frame post-processing adjustments. Because the character lore contains many elements related to plants and nature, we decorated the scene with a large amount of white drapery and ornamental white-leaved plants, paired with rattan flower baskets and iron chairs to create a dreamy yet tranquil atmosphere. The shooting process was actually quite tiring, especially the pose of standing on one leg and lifting the other, which took several takes to stabilize my center of gravity. The sitting pose photo is my personal favorite; the composition looks very relaxed and best matches the character's usual quiet and calm state. Catching the character's birthday this year, shooting this Roleplay cosplay serves as a keepsake for myself. When everyone looks at character splash art in Genshin Impact, they might think the clothes are very light and airy, but after actually wearing them, various straps and armbands severely restrict movement—especially the leg armor straps, which leave marks when worn for a long time. However, the moment the final images came out, I felt everything was worth it. This set wasn't shot outdoors and was completed entirely inside the studio, but through lighting and set design, it basically restored the serene botanical ambiance of the character. I hope this sharing allows everyone to feel the character's own cuteness and mystery, and I wish my favorite character continued happiness on her new journey.
