[Pramanix the Prerita cosplay] Arknights Cosplay convention photos Sharing

Selecting photos from the convention was quite a struggle because I loved all the angles captured by the photographer, but I finally picked out these four favorites. For this Arknights Pramanix the Prerita cosplay, a lot of effort went into preparing the wig right from the start. The silver-white long hair had plenty of volume; the two thick braided pigtails were the centerpiece of the look. To keep them from looking stiff, the roots were deliberately fluffed, and hair pieces were added for extra volume. The animal ears for this Kemonomimi girl look were custom handmade with wire supports inside to stay firmly in place, and the forehead ornament was very distinctive—the teal gemstone was dazzling. Though it pinched a bit after prolonged wear, I soldiered through the entire shoot for the visual effect.

Regarding the outfit, the dark inner layer paired with a bright blue coat, and the yellow tassels served as the soul of the ensemble, showing great movement and texture while walking. Because the tassels were quite long, I constantly made sure they didn't get tangled. The belt was leather with weighty golden hardware, and the small pouch on the hip was also a carefully curated accessory.

On the shooting day at the Arknights-only convention venue, foot traffic was heavy, making it tricky to find clean backgrounds. The photographer was very patient, selecting a light marble wall as the backdrop where the lighting was soft—preventing the deep blue of the outfit from looking too murky while nicely highlighting the black-and-white tail cradled in my arms. The character's temperament is rather quiet and gentle, so I deliberately restrained my facial expressions and kept my gaze relaxed. Holding the fluffy tail while taking photos was actually very comforting; to convey a natural state, I tried hugging it in my arms, clasping both hands across my chest, or gently tugging at the collar. Initially, I wanted to try sitting poses or full-body shots, but due to the cluttered expo surroundings, full-body shots would easily reveal background distractions, so we focused primarily on medium and close-up framing.

I touched up my makeup several times during shooting because this cool-toned palette demands a flawless base. Since the coat was relatively thick, it got a bit stuffy over time, but fortunately, the final photos captured the exact right ambiance. The props and costume textures were kept neat and clean without looking cheap. This shoot served as a little test of my character recreation skills; the subsequent retouching was also very clean, avoiding excessive skin smoothing to preserve authentic fabric textures. This photoset records the authentic moments of walking the convention floor and shooting that day, making for an immensely joyful experience of Cosplay convention photos and Anime-style photography.
