[Eyjafjalla Cosplay] Swimsuit Little Sheep in Arknights: Bringing You the Seaside Summer Vibe

Bringing Eyjafjalla's Swimsuit cosplay look to the twilight beach was quite a project, and the preliminary prop crafting and makeup required considerable energy. The dark, withered-wood texture of the staff had to be custom-crafted by a prop maker, and the sheep horns on the head required careful balance and anchoring so the sea breeze wouldn't knock them askew. Because seaside winds are strong, the sheer gauze coat easily blew around haphazardly, so before shooting, we spent a lot of time studying the wind direction to achieve the most graceful, flowing drape.

The makeup emphasized translucent color tones: the pink-to-brown gradient wig paired with the pink-plaid swimsuit offered a light, breezy summer aesthetic. Since this shoot highlighted body lines, we favored soft lighting, utilizing the ambient twilight glow reflecting off the sea along with reflectors to give the skin a fair, luminous texture. To capture dynamic, lively moments, the photographer used a wide-aperture lens, focusing to blur the seascape background and effectively accentuating the subject.

In terms of poses, we experimented with transitions ranging from crouching to standing on one leg, switching between high and low camera angles to elongate leg lines and make them appear even more slender. Post-processing leaned toward a dreamy pink-and-purple color grade; to preserve organic texture, skin retouching avoided excessive smoothing in favor of retaining natural skin texture. Since the seaside light in Shenzhen is very intense in the afternoon, we metered the light beforehand and compressed background highlights, lending the distant clouds and mountains a picturesque, serene stillness. The photoshoot lasted until sunset, with our white exotic pet companion cooperating seamlessly. Although the flowers on the staff had to be replaced multiple times due to the strong wind, the final imagery flawlessly achieved our expected Anime-style photography effect, making for a truly delightful Shenzhen photoshoot experience.
