This set of Wuthering Waves Yangyang cosplay photos has finally met everyone. From getting the original art settings to the final photoshoot, the entire preparation process took a lot of thought. To match the character's cool yet somewhat ethereal atmosphere, we made many attempts in makeup/styling and scene construction. The wig adopts a black-and-blue gradient design, retaining the original black short hair texture on top of the head, transitioning naturally down to bright blue, and white feather hair extensions were specially added on both sides, which sway gently when walking. The metal horn-shaped hair crown on top and the red tassel on the right side are the finishing touches, well balancing the overall cool tones.

The costume is the highlight of this shoot. The inner layer is a black tight tube top and shorts, covered with a layer of translucent grayish-white sheer robe. The details of this outer robe are very rich, with silver lines and blue cloud pattern embroidery on the sleeves. The metal-textured wristguards on the arms, the blue feather accessories at the waist, and the red gemstone metal buckles are all props prepared in advance. The lower body is matched with white irregular fabric and black platform boots, and the silver metal accessories and tassels on the boots have a strong presence when walking. The half-finger gloves for both hands were also custom-made.

The scene setup on the shooting day was extremely attentive. Photographer Teacher Zhuji built a large-scale blue space, with translucent blue sheer drapes hanging from high above, matching the landscape painting background and the golden miniature tower model, creating a feeling where tradition and fantasy intertwine. There were also many white crane props placed on site, some about to spread their wings, others standing aside, coupled with scattered grayish-black rockery stones and white and blue flower clusters, maximizing the sense of space in the studio. I sat on a Chinese-style wooden chair, or stood in front of the sheer drapes, trying to use various body languages to get closer to the character.

During the performance, I intentionally slowed down my movements. The character Yangyang gives a feeling of quiet and restraint, so I tried to keep my gaze calm and my hand movements gentle, such as crossing both hands in front of my chest, or gently reaching out one hand forward. The light of that day hit the translucent sheer clothing and the blue wig, presenting an especially transparent light and shadow effect. Stepping on the ground with the platform boots, matched with the white petals all over the floor, gave me an illusion of being inside a painting. The overall shoot went very smoothly, and every adjustment of movements was an effort to restore the cool temperament in the official art and settings. I hope the final presented picture allows everyone to feel the charm of this Night Feathers outfit.
