For this shoot, I chose the Shirasagi Himegimi, Kamisato Ayaka. The entire look is based on a modified Japanese-style outfit in a blue-and-white color palette, incorporating springtime cherry blossom elements. For the wig, I picked classic silver-white long straight hair with blunt bangs, paired with a dark blue bow with gold trim and white fluff at the top. The pink cord knots on both sides serve as visual highlights, while the cherry blossom branch at the chest and the thick pink cord tassels add an ethereal touch to her refined posture. For makeup, I avoided heavy colors, opting for a clean, translucent base paired with light blue contact lenses to sharpen eye focus, emphasizing eye contours while softening lip color to faithfully reproduce her cool yet gentle temperament.

What satisfied me most about this outfit was the combination of materials—the outerwear, pieced together in off-white and light blue, features plush white faux-fur trim along the collar and cuffs. This creates a visually comfortable, fluffy texture that gives the torso a rounder yet structured silhouette. The dark blue fabric on the lower half is detailed with intricate gold foil patterns, paired with fine tailoring to maximize every detail. To fit her character background and elemental setting, we carefully controlled the color contrast in both makeup and outfit styling: using icy blue contacts to mirror her Cryo element, balanced by abundant pink cherry blossoms as a contrasting accent, creating a visually harmonious look that highlights her unique charm.

This shoot took place in an immersive Japanese-style studio featuring classic wooden lattice paper doors in the background, a paper lantern painted with cherry blossom motifs on the left, and a half-opened black folding fan. The dense cherry blossom trees arranged in the set echoed the floral decorations on the costume, evoking the feeling of standing in the courtyard of the Kamisato Estate. For lighting, the photographer used a large softbox to ensure even light across my face, restoring a clear, translucent skin texture. The depth of field was softly blurred to subtly deemphasize the background, allowing viewers to focus on character expressions and intricate costume details.

During the shoot, I needed to constantly monitor my posture and gaze, as Kamisato Ayaka embodies both the elegant restraint of a noble lady and the composure of a leader of the Kamisato Clan. The seated posture required standing or sitting straight and dignified, with hands folded naturally rather than stiffly. Her expression needed to convey firm resolve within gentleness—neither overly aggressive nor too soft and cute. Especially when facing the camera, I aimed to present a confident composure that says, \"Please look at me closely.\" Although wearing a thick plush Japanese-style outfit under studio lights got quite warm at times, stepping closer to the character's soul through a meticulously prepared project brings an irreplaceable sense of fulfillment. From the texture of hair strands to the weaving of cord knots and every detail of the makeup, I hope this shoot delivers a satisfying visual experience for everyone.
