Here come the Convention photos from the Wuhan Magic Anime and Game Carnival, presenting a succubus Fan-made cosplay style for Genshin Impact's Raiden Shogun cosplay this time.

In the preparation phase, a lot of thought went into adjusting the details of this costume. The main body adopts a black halterneck off-the-shoulder design, paired with black semi-transparent long mesh sleeves, which displays the character's cool detachment while retaining the unique sensuality of a succubus style. The eye-catching magenta bow and blue circular emblem on the chest serve as the visual center, with golden tassel pendants at the neckline, achieving a color balance among black, blue, and magenta. Adding a pair of demon wings lined with magenta on the back, combined with a high-slit black long skirt and a Black tights outfit, made it extremely eye-catching while walking around the convention site.

Regarding props, a tachi sword was prepared to work with special effects this time. This long blade felt quite heavy to hold at the convention, but the tension when swinging it in front of the lens was genuinely impactful. The photographer cleverly utilized purple-pink lightning effects and surrounding magic circle halos, combined with natural light from the venue's geometric skylight, giving the entire photo set a strong cool-toned lighting feel. Especially in this seated photo holding lightning, the Black tights outfit and leg lines were nicely highlighted, creating a powerful mature aura alongside the glowing effect in hand.

The foot traffic at the convention was actually quite heavy, and pedestrians occasionally photo-bombing the background are one of the unique quirks of Convention photos. Finding a spot quickly in between crowds and striking poses required real quick thinking. Using a wide-angle lens allowed us to capture long legs and an expansive sense of presence within the limited hall space. Styling the wig also took a lot of time; the dark blue straight hair with blunt bangs needed to be fluffy on top and straight at the ends to maintain a clean, sharp look.

This time, I tried various poses including standing, sword-holding battle stances, sitting, and crouching, striving to showcase different facets of Raiden Shogun cosplay—both majestic and subtly succubus-like. Especially when holding thunder or wielding a tachi, my gaze had to remain cold and resolute to match the character's base personality. Post-processing effects mainly completed the surrounding purple lightning and rune light circles, giving the real shots the visual feel of a 2D anime action series.

The atmosphere at the Wuhan Magic Anime and Game Carnival was fantastic, with an open venue and lighting well-suited for photography. Although shooting day was exhausting, seeing the final photos brought a great sense of achievement.
