This outdoor shoot was selected at the seaside, wanting to use the cold tones of the waves and beach to contrast the blazing temperament of Changli. The white and pink costume and the semi-translucent sheer mesh material easily bring out a flowing, airy feel in the sea breeze, and the hollow-out design on the back also adds a few touches of lightness to the overall styling. That red deformed arm prop took a long time to make, with the coating and armor plate details restoring the texture of the setting as much as possible. The flame effect sword behind me was composited in post-production, but a position was specially reserved during the initial shoot so that the trajectory of the light effect remained consistent with the character's posture. The shoot took place right in the afternoon when the sunlight was very harsh, so a reflector was used to supplement soft light on the face, making the gaze look clearer. The character of Changli herself has a strong sense of independence and sharpness, so I tried multiple times with the standing positions and looking back angles, finally selecting this side profile looking back posture, which both showcases the waistline and brings out the visual extension of the weapon. The overall makeup didn't use too much heavy shading, mainly relying on the layers of the wig and the curves of the bangs to shape the face. Although the skirt hem got dirtied by sand during the shooting process, seeing the interwoven cold and warm effects in the final photos makes it all completely worth it. I hope everyone likes this version of Changli, and next time I might switch to a more complex scene to challenge her combat state.
