[Kasugano Sora cosplay] Yosuga no Sora Gymnastics uniform fitting, mirror log

Trying on Kasugano Sora's Gymnastics uniform, the overall fit turned out even better than expected. This time, I recreated the classic blue-and-white colorway: a white short-sleeved tee with navy piping on the collar and cuffs, paired with dark blue athletic bloomers—a quintessential campus athletic look.

Styling the wig was the primary focus for this shoot. The long, straight silver-white hair was tied into twin tails, with the ahoge at the crown lightly shaped with hairspray, accented by slender black ribbons on both sides. The wig length falls past the waist; while it looks gorgeous in photos, it tangles easily during actual wear and styling, requiring constant combing. For the anime mirror selfie, I chose the full-length mirror in the bedroom; the wooden bed and green curtains in the backdrop, along with the light-colored rug, perfectly set off the silhouette of the dark shorts.

Many mention Sora's uniform being paired with calf socks, and trying it on in person makes the flattering effect on leg contours remarkably clear. The White stockings calf socks wrap neatly around the widest part of the calves, matching the red-and-white buckle flats to visually elongate the lower legs while keeping the overall styling clean and sharp. Compared to over-the-knee socks, this knee-grazing calf length is much more manageable when sitting cross-legged or moving, without gathering excessive wrinkles.

During shooting, an anime mirror selfie demands constant adjustment of the phone's position. The raised-arm gesture in the second frame was intended to showcase the cut of the top while subtly revealing a hint of the waistline, preventing the visual focus from resting solely on the clothing fabric. When sitting cross-legged, attention must be paid to the leg openings of the bloomers to prevent accidental exposure, while ensuring the long wig behind flows naturally onto the rug without looking messy. To balance the room's ambient light, I lowered the phone's exposure slightly so the white shirt details wouldn't blow out, allowing the deep blue tones to register with rich depth.

The gray plush bunny cradled in my arms served as a sweet accent in the frame, while holding up a twin tail injected kinetic life into the still photo. Though the outfit is minimalist, projecting a natural, effortless presence in front of the lens still demands continuous fine-tuning of angles and movements.
