[Cheshire Cosplay] Azur Lane convention photos, matching white stockings and bells

The convention photos from this Foshan Cpg08 anime convention are finally out. Shooting this Cheshire outdoor photoset was quite a test of physical strength. This outfit has numerous layers; to restore the character's playful yet gorgeous feel, I put a lot of thought into the clothing details.
The wig was chosen with cyan highlights, styled into a blunt-bangs short haircut. The exaggerated dark lace cat ear headpiece on top of the head is extremely heavy, with golden bells hanging on both sides. To ensure natural head movements during shooting, quite a few invisible bobby pins were added inside. The dress features a dark blue and white color-blocked design, with a black bow and cutouts on the chest, and a golden cross chain hanging around the waist. The skirt hem is a multi-layered puffy skirt that is short in the front and long in the back, with the outermost dark lace overskirt combined with the inner white ruffles, creating a very layered look when walking.
Because the skirt hem is very large, photographer Baolin kept guiding me to lift the skirt hem with my hands during the shoot, which helps reveal the leg lines and shoes. I wore white lace-trimmed tights paired with black platform Mary Jane shoes, which not only fits the overall style but also provides support during long walks. The silver prop and large golden bell held in hand are important interactive tools for photos.
The outdoor lighting at the convention on that day was very strong, so we found some shaded spots in the plaza outside the building. The reflection from the glass curtain wall has high demands on light control, requiring constant adjustments of angles to ensure the character's face receives even lighting. Since these are convention photos, there were many onlookers around; to maintain emotional coherence, I tried my best to ignore the surrounding distractions and focused on displaying the poses.
The action design this time focused on lifting the skirt, raising the leg, and standing sideways, mainly to showcase the design sense of the outfit. To highlight the visual weight of the legs, I intentionally pointed my toes when raising my leg, which visually elongates the leg lines and better displays the texture of the platform shoes and stockings. In fact, grasping the center of gravity is very important when posing in platform shoes, especially for single-leg support poses, which require tightening the core while keeping the upper body relaxed to present a natural frozen feel. The lace of this outfit is prone to snagging, so I was extra careful when walking and sitting down to rest. I hope that through this set of photos, the texture of Cheshire's classic styling can be fully showcased.
