For the lips, a natural soft rose was chosen to create a gentle transition with the overall cool palette, adding a healthy glow.
When shooting this set, I didn't opt for overly busy backgrounds, focusing instead on using light and shadow to highlight the textures of the garment and subject. Close-up shots captured the delicate sparkle of the headpiece and the rim lighting along the hair strands. Angled lighting across the face sculpted facial contours, intensifying the calm focus and serenity in the gaze. Because the outfit features a high neckline and hood, a slightly high angle or top-down perspective best showcased the cozy embrace of the hood and the distinct layers of the blue-and-white fabrics.
