This time, I'm bringing you a finished Verina cosplay photoshoot from Wuthering Waves. The design of this outfit is truly layered; the gradient tulle skirt from light green to lake blue, paired with white ruffles and the iconic massive bow headpiece, makes the overall style very fresh and natural. The wig is long, light blonde curly hair, which I deliberately fluffed up. Combined with the green and white bow on top of my head, I'm quite satisfied with the accuracy. The shoot took place by the window, where the tulle fabric has a highly translucent sheen under natural light, and the sheer parts of the skirt hem and cuffs have an especially wonderful texture. There are many details in this costume, such as the lacing designs on the cuffs and waist, as well as the bows on the leg warmers. To maintain a lightweight feel, I used lightweight fabrics, yet still had to ensure drape and layering—the tailor really worked hard. For the makeup, I didn't use heavy colors, mainly emphasizing the eye contours and a touch of subtle blush to match the character's healing temperament. During the shoot, the white flower prop in hand was also crucial; the budding bouquet I chose perfectly echoes the character's theme of "flora."

While organizing this set of photos, I specially chose this seated picture as the cover. Although I'm holding a phone that blocks half of my face, the overall posture and the unfolding effect of the skirt are very natural, and the light spots landed right on the leg warmers, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Actually, to control the direction of the skirt hem, I tried many different angles, and finally decided on this casual sitting posture, which looks more relaxed instead. For friends who love this natural and fresh style, Verina's look is highly recognizable, and the color scheme is restrained yet durable. Putting it on makes one feel brightened up instantly. This shoot took a lot of time from costume preparation to detail adjustments. Seeing these small clever ideas captured by the lens in the final product brings a great sense of achievement. I hope to try more characters with unique styles from Wuthering Waves in the future, continuing to explore different combinations of Anime-style fashion and light-and-shadow play through Cosplay photography as a mobile game character cosplay experience.
