Putting on this blue-and-white outfit of Cartethyia, my first feeling was how lightweight and elegant it is. The blue bow on the hair ornament and the pendant on the forehead are highly exquisite, and I specially adjusted the elf ears and blue eyeshadow to best fit the character's state. This time, I chose an indoor photography scene with soft light and shadow; the white sheer curtains and the bed fit her own ethereal temperament perfectly. During the shoot, the photographer kept reminding me to pay attention to the drape of the skirt hem and to hold the blue butterfly prop firmly. I tried several different sitting positions, such as tucking my legs in to look back sideways, or resting my chin on one hand while looking at the camera, wanting to showcase the character's cool yet slightly playful feeling. Actually, there are many details in the props and accessories—shoulder straps, wrist ties, ankle rings—all of which took a lot of thought to adjust properly. During post-processing, I tried my best to preserve the natural transition of light and shadow without over-smoothing the skin, making the skin texture and clothing fabric grain look more authentic. Since I'm not very tall myself, as long as I take photos while sitting, there's absolutely no need to worry about height; finding the right camera angle can actually magnify the character's ethereal aura. I feel exceptionally satisfied after finishing this set; the elegance and mystery in the character design were beautifully interpreted in this shoot. After all, Anime cosplay isn't just about wearing an outfit; it's more important to bring the character's traits and emotions into the frame for a good roleplay experience. Next time I have the chance, I want to try an outdoor shoot, which feels like it would yield even better results.
