This photo adopts an extremely low angle to capture the 'enemy perspective' described in the character lore, exuding an intense sense of commanding presence. Even in a state before skill activation, she radiates an inherent majesty; lying on the ground looking up with the clear blue autumn sky and withered leaves overhead instantly brought out the evocative atmosphere. To find this camera angle on the day of the shoot, I was practically sprawled on the ground. Because the prop horns were large and shot from a Cosplay low-angle shot, balancing was very tricky, requiring me to leverage the stiffness of the garments against the ground to keep the angle aligned.
The autumn sunlight was crystal clear, filtering through withered leaves onto the pale golden wig for a natural look. In the photo, my outstretched arms and upward-reaching horns—framed by the low-angle perspective and surrounding branches—deliver powerful geometric visual tension.
The outfit is rich in detail, with green diamond patterns woven into the deep black fabric; the Cosplay low-angle shot perfectly captures the crisp contrast between these specific patterns and the blue sky. Securing the prop horns took considerable effort—not only fastening them firmly with snap buttons, but also making sure they didn't hinder movement. Compared to standing upright for a standard full-body shot, this challenging ultra-low angle better suited the character's aloof, coiled-power aura. The wind was quite strong during shooting, blowing my hair a bit wild, which added authentic realism. The background in this Autumn outdoor scene is completely natural: it happened to be peak foliage season, so I picked a tree with golden leaves set against pure blue sky, creating the ultimate natural filter. Looking up from such a low vantage point almost gave me the illusion of floating in the blue sky surrounded by branches, echoing the playful caption: 'Why am I flying in the sky?'
As a dedicated cosplayer, whenever I portray a character, I strive to maximize fidelity to the original design while seeking breakthroughs in Anime-style photography and composition. I love exploring unique visual languages that convey the quiet yet perilous state of a character before unleashing skills through an enemy's viewpoint. While the photoshoot was strenuous, lying on the ground watching the open sky and listening to the wind made me feel completely immersed in the character—a truly fascinating journey.
