[Shu cosplay] Arknights Great Wasteland City Agricultural Heavenly Master Holding Jade vase rice

For this shoot, we completely discarded traditional willow leaves and chose rice stalks as the primary prop in the jade vase (Jade vase rice). Because Shu is characterized as the Great Wasteland City Agricultural Heavenly Master, plump rice ears paired with the pure vase align more closely with her inner essence—grounded yet perfectly interpreting the aura of an Arknights-style Bodhisattva.

In terms of styling, the flowing white robe features extensive details; the cloud and dragon embroidery on the cuffs has great texture, and the lightweight fabric made it convenient for both outdoor and indoor studio shooting. The horn accessories on the head have a blue-white-gold gradient, paired with elf ears and a long blue-yellow gradient wig. The two long strands of hair draping over the chest enhance the character's ethereal, otherworldly mystery.

For makeup, high-luminance blue colored contacts were paired with delicate eye makeup and lip colors to create a sharp, focused gaze. The blue-gold totems on the back of my hands and fingers were hand-painted beforehand; due to the intricate lines, it took nearly two hours to paint, requiring careful elegance in hand gestures during the shoot to avoid smudging the patterns.

I am extremely satisfied with the photo retouching this time, especially on the face. Post-processing primarily preserved natural skin texture and pores, adjusting light and shadow to make facial contours more sculpted yet soft without excessive skin smoothing, faithfully reflecting genuine skin tone under studio lighting.

The shooting set featured Chinese-style floral branches, a carved wooden lounge chair, and birdcages as backdrops. The dark wooden background contrasted with the pure white attire; the overall tone leaned cool, leaving only the bright orange Jade vase rice as a warm accent. During shooting, because the horns, wig, and garments were heavy, keeping my back straight while seated was quite exhausting, especially while coordinating the floating angles of the ribbons. In harmony with the Ambience Synesthesia Shu theme, the entire atmosphere created a serene, Zen-like Eastern aesthetic, merging agricultural motifs with celestial elegance—a truly satisfying and dedicated creative endeavor.
