Today, the temperature inside the studio genuinely mirrored an early summer day outdoors—hot and stifling—yet after wrapping up this photo set, my heart felt truly warm ('Nuannuan'). This time, I portrayed Su Nuannuan from Love Nikki-Dress UP Queen; seeing everyone in the community constantly talk about Nikki ('Nuannuan') gave the entire shooting atmosphere an exceptionally heartwarming and familiar touch.

Let's start with the hair and makeup direction. To capture the sweet yet refreshing maiden aura essential to Su Nuannuan cosplay, I deliberately chose a lightweight, long-wear liquid foundation for the base. Given the summer heat, a heavy base melts easily, so setting powder and setting spray were applied with restraint. The eye makeup was the focal point of the face: I wore light amber colored contacts paired with slightly drooped puppy eyeliner to make my gaze appear remarkably soft and tender. I applied two tiers of delicate upper and lower false eyelashes, intentionally selecting slender styles to avoid looking over-the-top. Peach-pink blush was swept generously across my cheeks and the tip of my nose—a crucial step in crafting adorable charm—which, paired with a lustrous lip tint, instantly revitalized my complexion.

For the hair, I styled a light Pink wig into long, straight tresses with blunt bangs. When trimming, it was vital to keep the bangs from looking too dense, preserving an airy texture so they wouldn't appear stiff. The hair ends were given a gentle inward curl to create a natural, bouncy silhouette. Since this was an indoor studio shoot, the lighting was relatively stable, but to prevent harsh hot-spot reflections at the crown, the key light was positioned slightly off-center to enhance facial contour and depth.

Regarding the wardrobe, I selected a light-colored blouse detailed with semi-sheer tulle ruffles and frilled collar accents, accented with a pearl necklace around the neck that filled the open collarline gracefully. The straw hat on my head was a light-brown flat-topped woven boater, bordered with a gathered white sheer ribbon along the brim—a delightful touch that infused a vintage cottagecore flair into this Girl photography shoot. During shooting, I leaned across a dark brown tabletop with arms crossed, a posture calibrated through numerous takes. Because the wooden desk was hard, resting my chin directly on my arms easily squeezed out a double chin, requiring me to raise my head slightly and use neck strength for support while keeping my shoulders relaxed and dropped.

Hand details also called for special care: my nails were coated in mint green, creating a subtle cool-warm contrast against the overarching pink palette. Wearing a slender gold ring on my right index finger, I curled my fingers gently before the lens to make hand lines appear longer and more elegant. In terms of gaze, I explored two distinct vibes: one looking straight into the lens with playful, languid warmth, and another glancing softly toward the lower corner of the frame, evoking an unforced, quiet serenity.

Halfway through the shoot, sustaining this leaning pose while keeping facial muscles completely relaxed was genuinely exhausting. Yet seeing the shadow of the straw hat's ribbon drape across my shoulders in the raw captures, along with the soft texture rendered on the Pink wig by the warm studio lights, made this high-temperature cosplay studio shoot completely worthwhile. We skipped outdoor locations mainly due to the scorching weather, but staying indoors allowed me to focus deeply on channeling Su Nuannuan's gentle, tranquil essence. The entire session unfolded through constant pose adjustments, lighting checks, and smoothing out the wig and clothing—meticulous work where every single detail served the final visual composition.

By wrap-up time, my clothes were soaked through with a layer of sweat, but seeing that rosy, tender image on the monitor truly made my heart feel warm, just like the saying goes: hot as the weather was, the heart was warm. The overall style remained casual, gentle, and intimate, free of complex props or busy backgrounds, relying purely on the subject's poise and makeup styling to carry the frame. I hope the finalized photos convey this heartfelt warmth.
