This time I tried out Mai Shiranui's Hanafuda skin from Honor of Kings, which is what everyone commonly refers to as the Supreme skin. There are so many design details in this outfit—from the golden crown on the head and the light gauze ribbons on the shoulders, to the golden armor and straps on the legs—every single part recreates the gorgeous yet efficient feel of a ninja from the original artwork. To capture that dynamic sense of fluttering in the wind, we set up a scene with autumn leaves and folding screens indoors, using lighting to simulate the effect of natural sunlight filtering through. The white wig took a long time to style; to make the hair strands present that lightweight and elegant texture in front of the lens, it really required repeatedly adjusting the angles and wind speed. The set of cards held in my hand during the shoot is her iconic prop. Although it's not the traditional folding fan, interacting with this kind of small prop actually tests the expression in one's eyes even more. No exaggerated changes were made in the overall post-processing, mostly just color grading and fine-tuning the light and shadow, hoping to naturally present the skin's noble yet playful temperament. Every time I do a cosplay shoot for Honor of Kings, I spend a lot of thought on the props and styling. This Hanafuda version took a great deal of effort, from the clothing materials to the restoration of accessories, and I'm quite satisfied with the final photos. This role-playing game session was an incredible experience.
