Recently, I've been organizing my personal portfolio, so it's a good time to post a few recent Cosplay photoshoots in various styles, and also recruit photographers for Beijing cosplay photography collaborations in upcoming projects.
My current shooting schedule is quite full, so I no longer take paid commercial jobs and only focus on Final photoset TFP collaboration projects. Although this mode doesn't involve monetary transactions, precisely because of this, my requirements for collaborators are actually more specific. I hope to work with experienced photographers who can skillfully guide my poses during shooting, rather than relying on me to adjust or come up with poses on the spot. Communication efficiency is extremely important; inactive accounts or photographers who specialize purely in event convention snapshots are not currently being booked, mainly to prevent wasting both parties' time and energy if the final photos fail to reach the original goal of a TFP collaboration.
In terms of genres, my Anime cosplay range is quite broad. The ones listed in this post, such as the Type-Moon series, various miHoYo titles, Wuthering Waves, Arknights, Azur Lane, Blue Archive, as well as Naraka: Bladepoint, Honor of Kings, and NIKKE, are basically on my regular shooting list. If you want to shoot characters from other games, feel free to send over the concepts first; as long as the style fits, we can discuss how to design the shoot.
Regarding photo posting, once the photos are delivered, I generally don't post them on Douyin myself; the final photos are mainly posted by the photographer, and I will also co-post them on Xiaohongshu or other platforms. If the photographer is willing to tag/co-author with me, that's great; if not, that's fine too. Additionally, I will record some BTS live vlogs during shooting for my own video logs. After all, the core goal of a TFP collaboration is producing great Cosplay photoshoots, and good mutual chemistry saves a lot of trouble.
For instance, among the sets I recently posted, a lot of effort went into preparation. Take the traditional oriental set with the dragon tail: before shooting, I commissioned a craftsman specifically for the accessories. On the shoot day, the scene was decorated with moss, wooden trays, tea sets, and oil-paper umbrellas, requiring extensive communication regarding lighting and prop arrangements. The resulting atmosphere in the final photos matched wonderfully, catching the fur texture, body movements, and eyes perfectly—making it a set I'm personally very satisfied with. Additionally, the navy sailor outfit paired with outdoor cherry blossoms made great use of side-backlight right before sunset; the skin tones turned out exceptionally clear and bright, and paired with seated poses highlighting leg lines, the overall style is natural, light, and very clean. As for the dark gothic set, we set up black gauze, birdcages, and thorn headpieces in the studio with cool-toned lighting, bringing out an instant cold contrast. Different styles demand completely different lighting and posing approaches, so thorough homework is required before every shoot.
My current stance is simple: since I rarely take commercial jobs anymore, out of responsibility toward my work, I hope to find photographers who communicate with genuine artistic sincerity. No inactive accounts, no convention event snapshots, no minors—this is to protect both parties' time and energy.
