Preparing this Tushan Susu cosplay attire took tremendous attention to detail. From sourcing fabrics to sampling accessories, every step was calibrated to honor the canonical lore. The main silhouette features a pink-and-purple modified crossover robe design: a cross-collar top with light blue trim accents and voluminous flowing sleeves, layered with deep pink damask outside and transitional lilac and light-blue silks beneath. The waist is framed with a wide white obi cinched by a slender red cord, with hanging dark patterned sashes and golden-yellow tassels acting as visual centerpieces that sway dynamically in motion. The golden ankle bells serve as the soul accessory, reflecting studio strobes with crisp metallic luster. Above all, I adore the kemonomimi prop ears—their soft, fluffy texture instantly melts one's aura into effortless, adorable sweetness. The wig was trimmed with neat blunt bangs, with the top cowlick styled using setting spray to evoke that lively, spirited bounce.

For makeup, to accentuate youthful innocence and sweetness, the foundation was applied slightly fairer than usual, complemented by soft peach-orange eye shading and light-toned contact lenses to make the eyes appear rounder and delightfully innocent. Blush was placed beneath the eyes across the center of the cheeks to generate a natural, charming flush. The lips were finished with a dewy peach gloss, ensuring a luminous, soft complexion free of harsh sharpness.

The shoot itself felt remarkably relaxing and free. Because Tushan Susu is inherently cheerful and expressive, there was no need to force stern, icy stances. In terms of posing, I incorporated numerous playful gestures: the first sequence involved gently pinching the ears with both hands while slightly tilting the torso, showcasing the fabric drape and sleeve layers. Another series featured raising a hand to gesture while crossing the legs, which accentuated the cut of the garment and clean leg lines while injecting kinetic vitality. Since the hemline is relatively short, minor adjustments in posture beautifully elongated body proportions, with the ankle bells chiming in visual harmony.

The studio strobes were soft and uniform, flawlessly rendering the fabric colors. The complex layering allowed textile grains and chromatic gradients to shine under the lights. For expressions, I kept the corners of my mouth upturned, filling my eyes with curiosity and cheeky warmth. Often, a simple head tilt or reaching up to touch the ears conveyed her essence completely. The oversized ears were the undisputed focal point, and interacting with them felt completely organic. Everything flowed seamlessly, with the finalized series matching my vision of this adorable fox spirit down to the finest stitch, color harmony, and gesture. I hope that sincere devotion shines through every frame.
