[Seele Cosplay] Wildfire Member in the World of Genshin Impact: Heading Towards the Future Together

I'm Seele, a member of Wildfire in Belobog's Underworld. In this client shoot showcase, I wanted to present the resilience belonging to the Underworld through a comprehensive blend of lighting and styling.

Let's first talk about the design of the outfit and props. The blue-and-black wig features a distinct ahoge at the crown, with hair layering and curls faithfully styled. Among the accessories, the black leather gauntlets on the arms required the most effort. Featuring sharp silver rivet trims juxtaposed with white plush trim, this visual contrast of toughness and softness suits the character's battle aesthetic. The semi-translucent blue-violet skirt and cape feature gradient dyeing, where the sheer tulle's drape and flowing motion look beautifully tactile under soft studio lights.

The actual shooting process was quite hardcore. The giant scythe and polearm weapon carry considerable weight; to maintain an effortless, relaxed composure in the photos, we spent significant time fine-tuning the weapon's center of gravity and body postures. When flaring the cape, the airflow naturally lifted the translucent skirt, which, paired with studio highlights, beautifully showcased the costume's layering and tailoring. Hair strands and gauntlet plush textures were handled through lighting to render soft details, avoiding crushed blacks or blown-out highlights.

For this shoot, we experimented with two distinct atmospheric settings. One was a standard white-backdrop studio shoot. High-key lighting puts costume craftsmanship to the test, clearly revealing stitches on the collar, cuffs, leather gloves, and silver metal buckles. The white backdrop makes the character's silhouette pop dramatically, allowing sharp edges like rivets and weapon surfaces to reflect crisp, metallic glints.

The other setting utilized low-key lighting accompanied by chains and red flower props for moody aesthetic shots. In a dark environment, light becomes sharply focused on the subject, amplifying visual tension. This dark atmosphere echoes the character's background in the Underworld; Figures 1 and 2 serve as great examples—the accents of iron chains and red blossoms heighten color contrast while infusing narrative intrigue and mystery into Cosplay photography.

Regarding makeup, we emphasized elongated eyeliner and deep eyeshadow, paired with light purple contact lenses to give her gaze a sharp, aloof intensity before the camera. During half-body or facial close-ups, this makeup commands strong presence. Paired with black fingerless gloves, the interplay between hand gestures and eye contact is essential for showcasing combat-oriented characters in Anime cosplay.

Specifically, the silver geometric patterns on the back of the gloves and the metal reflections on the gauntlet rivets served as key details elevating overall refinement. Hand postures and grip angles on the weapon shaft were repeatedly adjusted—such as holding the weapon horizontally with one hand or crossing both hands—to project strength and battle proficiency. Posing in Figure 5—seated against a chair while propping up the weapon single-handedly—elongates the leg line, which, together with straps and boots, creates a tall, slender silhouette.

The behind-the-scenes execution of this shoot was genuinely physically demanding; holding a heavy weapon while maintaining flawless pose composure is exhausting. Thankfully, the final output—whether the high-definition texture of the white studio or the rich moodiness of the dark set—met all expectations. Stepping into the shoes of a Wildfire member and wearing this tactical fantasy suit was truly an unforgettable shoot experience.
