In this shoot, we tried to restore the calmness and depth that belongs to "Vertin". To fit the cinematic texture that spans eras in "Reverse: 1999", we specially chose deep red velvet as the main background, paired with a large amount of white floral art and candlelight. Through the lens, these elements collectively build a grand atmosphere of "between rain curtains, the era replayed". Every capture of light and shadow is a tribute to the unique aesthetics in the work. "The fate of every tree is facing tomorrow" – this sentence runs through the entire shooting process. To restore Vertin's unique temperament, the details of makeup and costume were treated with great care. The lace on the black evening dress and the delicate jewelry embellishments are very textured under the interlacing of strong light and smoke. Switching between different angles, from the depth of holding an umbrella to the calmness of sitting or lying down, we strived to show the multifaceted nature of the character as in a Roleplay. I am very grateful for the professional collaboration of the team, from photographic composition to Textured post-production, every link restored the artistic atmosphere in the work. The moment the final shots came out, that texture spanning time and space was perfectly presented. I hope these photos can bring you some visual enjoyment and resonance with the character in this Atmospheric photography project.
