The photoshoot at this CICF expo wrapped up smoothly, featuring my cosplay of Snyder from Reverse: 1999. This look carries immense visual impact; the moment I received the costume, I knew I had to capture a set at the convention.

First, let's talk about the costume coordinate. The top is a tube bodice assembled from lavish clusters of Red feather accents, offering exceptionally fluffy volume. To secure them properly, I spent considerable time adjusting the inner lining to ensure feathers wouldn't shed easily during takes. The waist is cinched with an openwork silver metal belt, draped with multiple delicate silver chains and pearl strands that catch subtle reflections as I move. The lower half features black leather shorts paired with tall black boots, with an added thigh garter to elevate visual layering. The hairstyle was equally vital—a vintage dark brown bob paired with a delicate silver headband, accented at both ears with matching red feathers that echo the outfit, while red-brown eyeshadow contouring along the brows and eyes brought out the character's piercing gaze.

Regarding props, I held a long prop firearm model finished in red, black, and silver. With a well-balanced heft, handling it felt immersive for posing. The location was set along the asphalt road outside the convention venue, backed by yellow-and-black metal guardrails. These crisp geometric lines and industrial hues forged a striking visual contrast against the red-and-black styling of the costume.

To showcase the visual tension of the coordinate, we experimented extensively with pose design. When posing standing with the firearm, I shifted my center of gravity to open up the shoulder line, using the half-draped coat to accentuate collarbones and shoulders. Furthermore, for the shot leaning against the yellow guardrail with one leg bent resting on the rail, the stance demanded serious core strength but maximized the leg silhouette and sleek leather textures. The kneeling poses were retaken several times as well—to keep the silver chains and feathers draping organically, I carefully rearranged the hemline and feathers with every positional adjustment.

Shooting outdoors made light and wind two unpredictable factors. While natural daylight was abundant, the wind easily ruffled the feathers. After every sequence, I checked in with the photographer to confirm the feathers' placement and groom them promptly. Since the prop gun was rather long, steady grip from both fingers and wrists was crucial to prevent poses from looking stiff in-frame.

Wearing this outfit was a singular experience requiring meticulous focus from hair and makeup to garment nuances. The delicate feather materials demanded gentle movement and care when dressing, which naturally slowed my pace around the venue—a measured rhythm that serendipitously channeled the character's poised, nonchalant aura. Photographer Buri demonstrated keen sensitivity to light and shadow, finding diverse angles along the guardrail so we could achieve these finished shots with deeply satisfying exposure and color balance. It was a thoroughly enjoyable shoot, with the rich texture of the red feather styling shining through every frame.
