Once this styling for Hiroi Kikuri was locked in, a vivid visual concept crystallized in my mind. The character's soul lies in that gap-moe contrast: perpetually tipsy and seemingly unkempt, yet fiercely dedicated to rock 'n' roll deep down. To do her justice, I poured serious effort into the styling and choreography. Long magenta braids paired with clip-on vampire fangs and the sun tattoo painted across my hand immediately unlocked that dangerous, magnetic allure. For wardrobe, I paired a grey camisole with a monochrome varsity jacket worn perpetually slipping off the shoulders—this uninhibited, nonchalant drape perfectly matches her ready-to-party-anytime attitude.

For props, the natural wood-grain bass was the absolute centerpiece. During takes, I continually chased that feeling of clutching the bass like an irreplaceable companion. For the indoor bar setup, immense gratitude goes to boss Tiantian for providing the location—it was pure cinematic gold. A polished wooden counter, moody amber tungsten lighting, and tiered liquor bottles in the background gave the room built-in narrative weight. Perched at the bar clutching a beer bottle, or slumping directly across the counter staring into the lens, the photographer captured those hazy, defenseless split-seconds. Pints of draft beer and sake cartons on the side made slipping into character second nature, feeling like I might shout 'Kanpai!' at any moment. Most of the time, forced posing was unnecessary; simply embodying a slightly drunk Rock bassist relaxing after a gig let every movement flow organically.

The outdoor Bar night scene took on an entirely different rhythm. We tracked down illuminated staircases and bustling commercial avenues. Cool-toned city neon created a fierce chromatic clash against my pink hair. Sitting across the backlit stairs pretending to slap the bass let my legs stretch naturally, leveraging ground-level uplights to evoke a moody blend of loneliness and liberation beneath the urban night. Wandering down city sidewalks with a black gig bag strapped over my shoulder, or gazing upward while nursing a pocket-sized drink carton, captured her candid, off-stage slice of life.

This Meizhou photoshoot booking was a truly exceptional experience. Night photography brings real technical hurdles, requiring precise facial fill to harmonize with tricky ambient exposure. To evoke that dizzy, tipsy haze, we leaned into Dutch angles and teased creamy bokeh flares to build an intoxicating, surreal visual depth. Throughout the session, I continually checked my fretting posture to keep finger placements looking authentic and seasoned rather than amateurish. Playing this role felt like tapping into my true self—bringing anime's favorite drunken rocker into the physical realm and projecting that unchained joy of losing oneself in music and alcohol made for an unforgettable creative ride.
