This set of photos has actually been sitting on my hard drive for a while, and I've finally finished all the post-processing. I used to feel that my photos tended to look a bit gloomy, so this time I deliberately leaned toward a bright and energetic direction during the early communication and post-processing color grading. Coupled with Teacher A-Ci's snapshot composition, it finally has that sense of lightness an "ordinary Magician" should have. The costume is a customized black star-patterned skirt, paired with the classic large ruffled hat and layered white aprons; I am very satisfied with the texture.

The makeup artist, Teacher Mao, made the eye makeup very translucent, and the wig was perked into fluffy layers, keeping the bangs and sideburns looking very natural during daily running around. The temperature on the day of the shoot wasn't too high. The daytime natural light reflected beautifully off the white pillars, and slightly rolling back the highlights made the frame clean and translucent. The broom prop features a spiral-patterned handle that I wrapped myself. The center of gravity was adjusted to be quite balanced, so it didn't feel too heavy when spinning it around or holding it horizontally.

Lastly, special thanks to our logistics helper, Rice, for helping to lift the skirt hem and arrange the accessories on-site, allowing me to confidently pull off demanding poses like jumping and looking back. There are so many details to refine in this Touhou Project series, such as the star prints on the skirt hem and the way the bow on the chest is tied. Next time I want to try more dynamic compositions to continue capturing Marisa's cheerful vibe in this Touhou Doujin cosplay.
