[Cyrene Cosplay] The Pink-Haired Girl from Honkai: Star Rail

Now that today's hair and makeup session is complete, I'll briefly share my thoughts on this styling.

First is the wig. This time I chose a pink-toned short wig. When I first bought it, the white highlights at the tips and the feather headpiece on top easily tilted. I used a flat iron and hair wax to restyle the layers and curves. Especially for the bangs, they need enough volume to make the face look small and delicate; styling wigs for everyday Anime-style fashion looks really tests one's patience. The white-and-gold winged hair accessory on top serves as the visual focus of the entire head. I used clips to secure it firmly when wearing it, otherwise it could easily loosen up during activities.

For the eye makeup, the focus today was on the bright blue contact lenses. To emphasize the unique eye-enlarging effect of anime styles, I slightly elongated and winged out the upper eyeliner, used a gradient of pink-orange and dark brown for the lower eyeshadow, and drew lower lashes to make the entire eye makeup look spirited yet not overly aggressive. Highlights were dotted on the inner corners and the aegyosal area, yielding an excellent brightening effect. Paired with a soft-focus coral lip color, the overall makeup was clean and refreshing, beautifully matching the inherent lightness of the outfit.

For the costume, I chose an off-the-shoulder blue-and-white spliced outerwear, with a silver-white inner layer featuring decorated embroidered textures, offering very rich accessory details. The metal necklace with a blue gemstone on the neck is a highlight; sitting right above the collarbone, it beautifully accentuates the neckline. However, this type of necklace easily flips during daily activities, so I used a bit of double-sided tape to secure it before heading out. The metal hexagram badge on the shoulder is also quite substantial, and the accessories' texture is highly accurate, making it a major feature of the styling. But because it is off-the-shoulder, when touching up makeup, you need to pay attention to the sunscreen and foundation evenness around the collarbones and shoulders.

The shooting was done right in my living room, with our deer antler wall clock visible in the background. For lighting, I used an indoor ring light with a softbox, making the skin tone look relatively smooth. When taking selfies with the phone's front camera, I had to find angles to avoid lens distortion. I am quite satisfied with the composition and pose in the second photo, with my right hand raised to the side of my neck—not only does it visually elongate the neck lines, but it also avoids the cluttered background areas, locking the visual focus onto my facial eye makeup, hair color, and neck accessories. Although it was a simple handheld selfie without complex lighting or assistants, I am personally highly satisfied with the overall 2D atmosphere. This look features a pink, white, and blue color palette, looking exceptionally clean under light. I didn't go to any complex outdoor setups this time, mainly wanting to record the details of the makeup and hair. For post-processing, I only slightly brightened my skin tone, relying mostly on the initial lighting setup. Preparing the styling took quite some time to tame the frizzy wig; for a relatively casual yet highly recognizable look, pulling it off effortlessly is key, and this lightweight coordination is perfect for everyday random outdoor snap events or convention photos.
