The shooting plan for today's set of photos was actually decided very early on, and the core concept was to express Marisa's mischievous and lively vibe under the winter sun. The venue was chosen on the outdoor terrace of the Penghao Theater Cafe, where the wooden structures paired with bare branches naturally carry a very quiet, narrative atmosphere.

The light on the day of the shoot was very transparent but also quite harsh, which required being particularly meticulous about the timing of the shots. Using a 35mm large-aperture lens in this somewhat narrow environment filled with wooden lines made it easy to capture the full scene dynamics and character interactions. The choreography of the movements in the photos was also crucial; the jumping action in the first photo was caught after several attempts, and that upward momentum fits perfectly with the literal description 'ukimasu (floating/flying up)'.

Regarding the details of this wizard costume, I think the most noteworthy piece is that striking long red scarf. This scarf is not only highly saturated, serving as a visual focal point in well-lit environments, but it also forms very natural dynamic lines during jumps and sitting poses, keeping the frame from looking rigid. The white lace trim on the hat heavily tested the craftsmanship, and during the shoot, I adjusted the angle of the brim multiple times to avoid blocking my facial expressions. The large area of the white top combined with the black layered skirt, plus the thick-soled lace-up ankle boots, offers a relatively heavy visual weight, making it perfect for an autumn/winter theme.

Holding that broom wrapped in fabric strips, along with the star-decorated wand, serves as my signature gear. Though the props aren't massive, the angles must be carefully managed when coordinating with the overall posture; otherwise, it can easily look cluttered. For the long braided hairstyle, some weaving designs were worked into the hair strands while leaving a voluminous curl, which creates a rich sense of layering when paired with that wide hat.

For the post-processing mindset, we didn't go in a very dark or high-contrast direction; instead, we preserved rich highlight details to give the overall photos a clean, clear film texture, closely matching the relaxed mentality of 'surviving another year on anime passion.' After all, whether it's cosplay or photography, the emotions left in the frame are what matter most. This look appearing in the frame paired with the overall atmosphere gave the photographer plenty of room to capture these moments via beautiful cosplay photography.

Looking at the photo selection, whether it's the frontal standing posture holding the broom or the final low-angle close-up, they form a wonderful call-and-response on this terrace. This final close-up is an angle I find highly suitable for a cover; the wooden frame in the foreground is slightly blurred, the facial expression is very natural, and the hand-raising motion combined with my gaze carries a sense of light pride and ease, fitting the temperament of this character in my mind perfectly. That's all for this shooting record. I look forward to trying different combinations and styles with new scene concepts when the weather gets even better in the future.
