This time, I finally shot Tewi Inaba, a character I absolutely adore! It's also my first time trying this kind of slightly tsundere yet agile rabbit ears look. The details of the entire costume are very exquisite; the lace edges, checkered apron, and carrot throw pillow combine together to capture that smart yet mischievous feeling of Tewi perfectly. Special thanks to the photographer, Teacher Damao No.1, who used a Sony camera to snap away with continuous shooting throughout the process. The capture speed was simply incredibly fast, and the raw photos have great texture almost straight out of the camera. Under high pixels, both the skin texture and fabric luster were well-retained, saving me a lot of effort during post-processing color grading. The shooting venue was chosen at a local drinks shop in Chongqing with a great atmosphere; ordering a drink gives unlimited use of the wooden cabin, flower wall, and rooftop sets. The natural light on the steps and by the window is exceptionally photogenic, bringing the overall sense of atmosphere to the max. However, there was a minor interlude—the mosquitoes in the outdoor garden area were truly ridiculously numerous. Wearing short socks and white shoes, my legs got bitten over a dozen times in one evening; the bumps didn't fade for a week and even left pigment deposits, so it seems I must bring strong mosquito repellent for outdoor photoshoots from now on. This collaboration was highly pleasant; the photographers in Chongqing are exceptionally on point with both aesthetics and technique, and all kinds of props and scenes coordinated with great tacit understanding. I will continue to challenge more looks from the Touhou series in the future, hoping to restore the charm of each character perfectly.
