[Seele Vollerei cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd Seele Birthday Celebration Party

To prepare for Seele's birthday celebration shoot this time, I started brainstorming scene setups and prop pairings days in advance.

This outfit features an abundance of details, and the classic white, blue, and black color palette is instantly eye-catching. The upper bodice is a black halter-neck design, with the metallic chains and keyhole accent across the chest serving as crowning highlights of great tactile quality. The skirt is heavily tiered, with blue-trimmed white ruffles cascading together to create fantastic volume whether walking or sitting; paired with detached arm sleeves, the overall look achieves rich, distinct layering. The blue star motifs on the gloves also stay faithfully true to the original design.

The White stockings on the lower half were another focal highlight of this shoot. To guarantee the best on-camera results, I selected an opaque style with slight compression to smoothly sculpt the leg lines. The blue geometric prints along the socks are remarkably crisp. Paired with white platform shoes and black-and-blue ruffled ankle cuffs, crossing my legs while seated showcased the leg curves to their fullest extent, which is such an essential element when bringing anime characters to life.

A great deal of care went into the set styling. To fit the birthday theme and cultivate a dreamy yet cozy ambiance, I chose a princess bed draped with white lace canopies. The bed was layered with satin-finish white sheets that caught the light beautifully. In the background, I arranged a cartoon bear throw pillow, stacks of yellow and brown gift boxes, and a lifelike teddy bear plushie. On the small bedside table, I placed a dainty round pink cake topped with cream swirls and red candies, looking utterly adorable. To the right of the frame, I added a bouquet of pink roses, a vintage carved photo frame, prop pastries, and antique books, giving the entire setting a fuller, warmly lived-in charm.

During shooting, we primarily used lighting directed from the upper front to illuminate my face cleanly while carving out sharp textural definition across the White stockings and skirt ruffles. Because the scene contained numerous decorative elements, framing kept the subject centered, using the bed drapes and background props as a natural border to lock the visual focus onto the character. When holding props or the cake, keeping the shoulders relaxed and controlling wrist tension was vital to prevent looking stiff. Although switching through countless poses throughout the shoot was tiring, seeing the rich colors and final interplay of light and shadow swept all the exhaustion away. I hope this photo set conveys the joyful warmth of a happy birthday and captures Seele in her most flawless state.
