[Eromanga Sensei cosplay] Stay-at-home shoot in pink-and-white pajamas with plushies

For this shoot, I chose an indoor bedroom setting, mainly wanting to create the cozy atmosphere of the character staying at home on an ordinary day.

Regarding the outfit, I prepared a pink long-sleeved pajama set with white ruffle trim along the collar and cuffs, along with pink bows sewn across the chest and hemline. To add layered depth, I styled it with pure White stockings on the lower half, creating a nice visual contrast against the pink pajamas while complementing the overall sweet color palette.

The wig is a long straight silver-gray style with blunt bangs, pinned with two small pink bow hair clips on each side. The makeup was kept light with an everyday feel—a fair base, pink eyeshadow and blush, and blue contact lenses to match the character's signature eye color. I also had my nails done with small custom motifs; even if the camera doesn't catch every tiny detail, these elements help me immerse myself fully into the character.

The location was a bed covered in pink bedding set against a white tufted headboard. To match the theme, I brought several plush toys as props. The first set of shots features poses lying flat on the bed. To show off the leg lines and the texture of the White stockings, I raised and slightly parted my legs while resting my hands naturally over my chest, shot directly from overhead. This angle beautifully highlights facial expressions and the overall silhouette. During this set, maintaining core engagement was key to avoid looking stiff while lifting the legs, all while keeping the facial expression relaxed.

The second set captures me kneeling on the bed, hugging a round, bright green plush toy. In the middle of an all-pink scene, this green plush doll really pops with high contrast. While wrapping my arms around it, I leaned forward slightly, lowered my center of gravity, smiled gently, and looked into the lens. The secret to this pose is keeping the arms naturally curled without hunching the shoulders, conveying a sense of cozy reliance on the plushie.

True to the post's description, I'm genuinely not very good at socializing with people, but hugging a plush toy in quiet indoor settings gives me a great sense of comfort and security. The moment the shutter clicks, I truly feel like that introverted character who loves staying home and dreads stepping outside—this mindset lets me slip right into the mood effortlessly.

Lighting for indoor photography is equally crucial. We avoided complicated setups, relying primarily on natural window light supplemented by a single softbox. This kept the skin looking translucent without shifting the hues of the wig or pink pajamas. Post-processing focused on fine-tuning brightness and saturation, making the pink tones softer and the whites cleaner.

The entire shoot took about two to three hours—changing outfits, tweaking the wig, and smoothing out the bed. While the process had its tedious moments, seeing the final photos made me feel that the colors and composition achieved our vision completely. The pairing of pink and white, accented by plush toys, gave the whole set a warm and adorable feel. I hope these photos bring everyone a relaxing moment, and I hope you enjoy this style of portrayal!
