This time, I brought to life the Traditional Chinese style cosplay look of Hsin from Wuthering Waves. Hsin's character design is brimming with classical Eastern grace while carrying the quintessential bewitching allure of a fox spirit. To do justice to this role, I undertook extensive preparations across the wig, makeup, wardrobe, and posing choreography.

First, let's talk about the hair, makeup, and costume details everyone is curious about. This ensemble features a modified traditional silhouette spliced with red, white, and black tones. The metallic chest hardware and turquoise gemstone serve as the visual focal center; to give the ornaments greater dimensional depth, I hand-sewed multiple layers of lining and jacquard textures. The outer scarlet gossamer cloak is wonderfully airy, yet notorious for snagging, which made me turn with utmost caution throughout the shoot. The black fabric draping down the lower hem is infused with white glitter textures, casting a subtle, delicate shimmer under studio lights. The wig was specifically chosen in a matte blend with a gray-black gradient at the tips. The white Animal ears on the crown were custom-made, secured with hidden clips alongside gold filigree ornaments, leaving me constantly mindful of keeping big movements controlled so nothing would dislodge.

In terms of makeup, the eyes are the absolute soul of the character. Crimson contact lenses paired with expansive red eyeshadow blending and painted scarlet facial markings make the gaze intensely captivating. The most time-consuming task was actually the red totem motifs on my arms; painted with body art pigments, I rehearsed the strokes before a mirror repeatedly to keep the linework crisp and clump-free. The nails were coated in a vibrant glossy red to echo the golden earrings, dialing the intricate accents to the max.

The set was staged with a massive luminous moon fixture and artificial floral trees to evoke the mysterious atmosphere of a fox spirit beneath the moonlight. Photo 1 features a profile glance over the shoulder, mainly intended to highlight the lines of my back and the garment's layered tiers, leveraging the halo of light behind to construct a quiet yet fiercely poised aesthetic. Photo 2 presents a frontal kneeling stance, which demands immense core stamina to maintain an upright spine while relaxing facial expressions into calm, unyielding confidence. To capture the optimal angle, we adjusted lighting and camera positions repeatedly on set, paying careful attention to how the skirt draped and pooled.

While the entire shooting process was quite demanding, seeing the final edits made every bit of effort worth it. I hope through this photo set, everyone can feel the singular charm and presence of Hsin.
