Preparing for this Wuthering Waves Zani cosplay photoshoot took considerable time, from selecting the costume to perfecting the hair and makeup details. Slipping into the black pinstripe suit paired with a Black tights outfit and Red-bottom high heels, topped with the signature black cat ear accessories, immediately established the visual tone. Because the concept was all about refusing to work overtime, we deliberately selected a Vintage bar with a pool table setting to match that post-work urge to unwind—tinged with a languid yet dangerous charm.
The lighting design during the shoot focused heavily on the leg lines and upper-body silhouette. The posture sitting on a barstool in Photo 1 is a classic, beautifully showcasing the suit skirt's tailoring and the hosiery's texture; paired with alluring hand gestures, it proved to be an angle that fully expressed her charisma. The subsequent two shots sitting on the pool table—casually holding the taken-off Red-bottom high heels or twirling a necklace—were intended to complement the relaxed vibe of the billiard table and reflect an off-duty state of completely letting one's guard down.
Throughout the shoot, finding the most natural posture took plenty of trial and error. Wearing high heels and black tights while maintaining an elegant seated pose and balancing on the edge of the pool table proved to be quite a test of leg strength; the extension of my knees and toes required constant adjustment to keep the leg contours looking smooth. The photographer asked for more aloofness, distance, and a zoned-out gaze, which resonated well with that post-work mindset of wanting zero conversation and pure peace. Environmental elements like the vintage gramophone, liquor bottle backdrop, and wooden bar counter added immense flavor to the overall atmosphere of this Vintage bar.
This photo set essentially captures that spontaneous yet subtly exhausted state, where the pairing of a Black tights outfit and Red-bottom high heels provided rich visual layering against the dark background. Seeing the finished shots—whether the chic modern city look sitting before the bar counter or the slightly rebellious poise perched atop the pool table—faithfully brought to life my vision of this concept.
