[Xishi cosplay] Capturing the water-like agile artistic conception in Jiangnan water towns

The core of this shoot was to pursue a sense of "naturalness." As a Xishi cosplay, I didn't want to just restore the costume, but to convey the agility and tranquility that belongs to Jiangnan water towns. In terms of location selection, we found an ancient architectural space with great Atmosphere, using the misty texture and the calmness of the wooden structure to set off the character's gentle personality. In makeup and styling, I deliberately downplayed heavy elements, striving to blend every detail into the natural Atmosphere.

What surprised me most in this set of photos was the flow of light and shadow on the blue silk fabric, as if I had really captured Xishi's water-like texture. During the shooting process, I kept thinking about how to use lens language to interpret the line "Give the most valuable thing to the most precious person." This emotional connection is the core of the character's soul. Through this Ancient style cosplay, I not only completed the visual presentation but also achieved a spiritual resonance with the character in this quiet Jiangnan style. In post-production, we also retained a large amount of natural light and shadow to avoid excessive artificial traces. I especially like the moment of sitting quietly under the corridor in this group; that elusive sense of detachment is exactly the most charming part of Xishi.
