This elf-themed styling, dominated by a color scheme of white, blue, and purple, went through a long preparation period from the initial theme confirmation to the final shoot, especially the lightweight modification of the wings and headpieces to better adapt to outdoor portrait photography.

The weather on the day of the shoot was very sunny, but when scouting locations, we intentionally avoided the direct midday sun and chose an earlier morning time slot. You might notice that this costume features numerous layered designs of tulle and ruffles; only under soft natural light can the translucent quality of the material truly be displayed. The semi-transparent antler branch prop on top of my head, combined with the pink-purple floral hair accessories, aligns perfectly with the dreamy ethereal look of the overall styling. To complement the outfit, I also prepared a wand prop decorated with star-shaped crystals and metallic curves. It was not merely an ornament; during the shoot, it beautifully solved the awkward problem of hand placement, making the arm lines look more natural and extended.

The shooting location was a hillside covered in blooming hydrangeas, offering an incredibly high degree of color harmony for the frame. The massive expanse of the blue-purple sea of flowers belongs to the same color family as my dress. Although the colors are similar, the large expanse of white gauze skirt at the hem acts beautifully to brighten the look and catch the eye, constituting rich layers. When structuring the frames, the photographer cooperated with me to make various attempts. There were high-angle upward shots standing on elevated ground, bringing in the blue sky and white clouds as a background; there were also half-body close-ups, highlighting the headpieces and exquisite petal decorations; there were medium shots sitting against the flower bushes, as well as dynamic snapshots walking lightly on the gravel path. Lastly, we even tried a set of top-down shots lying on the grass because the sunlight filtering through the leaves generates gorgeous bokeh spots, adding a sense of laziness and natural breath to the entire photo, maximizing the Anime vibe.

For the makeup coordination, I selected a rather clean and clear Japanese style. The eye makeup was not done too heavily, with the focus placed on making every single eyelash distinct, paired with light-colored contacts to enhance the communicative feel of the gaze. Because the skirt hem of this outfit is exceptionally voluminous, coupled with the wing accessories on the back, moving around outdoors was subject to the influence of the wind. Thus, many postures that look like casual snapshots of lightweight extension were actually completed through repeatedly adjusting positions and controlling the center of gravity, requiring me to maintain a certain degree of bodily tension to appear completely effortless.

The post-processing adjustments did not over-apply heavy coloring, mainly raising the overall brightness of the frame slightly to present a high-key, clean, and luminous feel. The saturation of the blue-purple colors and the green plants underwent slight fine-tuning, giving them a touch of low-saturation Morandi color tone, which allows the skin tone to look even fairer and softer. The entire set of photos ultimately hopes to present a texture that is serene, empty, yet filled with vitality and a natural aura. In the bustling urban life, being able to have such a massive, vibrant sea of flowers as a background, paired with this carefully prepared outfit, is indeed a highly wonderful creative experience.
