This outdoor location shoot was completed under the blooming sakura forest, just catching the tail end of the most brilliant spring cherry blossoms. To match the overall fresh and natural style, I chose a very classic Japanese sailor suit for the look. The upper body is a pure white long-sleeved top paired with a navy sailor collar and a matching bow tie, while the lower body features a dark blue pleated short skirt and black over-the-knee socks, completed with black uniform leather shoes. The entire look exudes a strong youthful school vibe.

Regarding the hair and accessories, I combed my original long pink hair into two low braids, paired with straight bangs, and added fluffy animal ears and little reindeer horn props. Since the character setting itself is full of agility and fits perfectly with the pink sea of flowers blooming in spring, wearing these animal horns under the sakura trees felt completely natural. Actually, to prepare for this location shoot, I also specially matched it with a white plush doll backpack. It added a lot of cute and soft-and-cute attributes to the overall look. Walking through the woods with it felt like truly stepping into a fairytale scene.

The shooting environment on that day was actually quite challenging because the light contrast around noon was large, but we specifically chose a time slot with excellent diffuse soft light to avoid harsh shadows. Guided by the photographer, I tried several poses in different states, such as opening my arms to feel nature, making a playful one-eye wink, and using the shooting footstep box under my feet to complete a full-body stretching motion. Through the blurring effect of the large aperture, the background formed a very soft bokeh, perfectly separating the character from the cluttered sakura branches.

In post-color grading, we preserved the soft light of the sky and the original pinkish-white tones of the sakura without excessively increasing contrast and color saturation, keeping the translucency of the image. At the same time, we added quite a few falling petal special effects—on one hand to increase the animation and depth of the frame, and on the other hand to echo the spring feel of "showering blossoms." Every glance back frozen by the shutter click didn't actually require intentionally putting on highly complex poses; as long as the emotion was there, just looking at the camera with a natural smile was enough to convey that lighthearted and free atmosphere of spring.
