Today I'm bringing you a photo set of my Klee Cosplay from Genshin Impact.
This session features a full cosplay outfit of Klee from Genshin Impact. As CN Aoi, I've always loved Klee's lively yet slightly cheeky vibe in the game, so I leaned into a sweet, patisserie cake-like aesthetic for the makeup and styling.
The costume contains rich details. The huge red-and-white ruffled hat on my head serves as the primary visual centerpiece, crisply tailored with a red bow accent. The light blonde wig was styled with loose, fluffy curls, complemented by small red hair clips on the bangs for high fidelity. For makeup, focus landed on the eyes using light red contact lenses, paired with pink eyeshadow and blush for a lively complexion; pointed elf ear prosthetic accessories were also prepared to add playful charm during close-ups in Anime-style photography.
The top consists of a white short-sleeved blouse with a black lace collar, centered with a grand red bow and gold ornament that nicely balances visual weight. Black fingerless gloves were chosen to pair with puffy sleeves, maintaining cuteness without looking cumbersome. A red leather belt with double metal buckles snugged the waistline, visually enhancing body proportions so the voluminous skirt wouldn't shorten the silhouette.
The lower outfit is the crowning core of the entire look. White fluffy pom-poms line the hem of the white inner skirt, making the garment look soft, voluminous, and premium in texture. Layered over it is a red outer skirt detailed with gold trim and gold four-leaf clover badges, delivering rich three-dimensional structure. White over-the-knee socks featuring delicate lace edging and red bows on the thigh sides are key highlights, paired with classic black Mary Jane shoes that flatter leg lines while ensuring comfortable movement across the set.
Props were equally abundant this time: a khaki crossbody satchel with red straps, complete with a tiny white plush mascot peeking out from the flap; plus a round plush prop featuring a large yellow heart and red base held in hand, which felt incredibly soft and encouraged natural posing and playful interaction.
The venue was a well-lit indoor shopping center with large floor-to-ceiling windows, casting clean, clear ambient reflections during daytime. The photographer's shutter pacing was wonderfully relaxed as we tried several poses: lifting one leg to add dynamic energy, placing hands on hips to emphasize proportions and waistline, and hugging props frontally for an adorable look. For multi-layered voluminous skirts, fine-tuning hem shapes is crucial—sometimes propping up the skirt edges ensures the fringe of pom-poms stays round and full, preserving that fondant cake-like fluffiness.
The resulting photos matched my expectations well. Although Klee is an energetic child in Genshin Impact, standing in this outfit under soft ambient light conveyed a delicate, porcelain doll aesthetic. For Genshin Impact players, bringing a beloved character to life is pure enjoyment. Combining fabric textures, accessory details, and post-processing color harmony makes a 2D image truly three-dimensional. I hope this bright, colorful, childishly whimsical style brings everyone's vision of Klee to life as I continue refining costumes, makeup, and expressions in future Casual cosplay projects.
