My overall shooting condition at the Honor of Kings Chess (Honor of Kings Chess) booth during this TapTap Game Festival was wonderful. This Yao Mei outfit and styling had been in preparation for quite some time, and the resulting visual outcome matched my expectations. Starting with hair and makeup, the pink wig was styled into two thick braided plaits on either side; to ensure the strands appeared naturally airy and voluminous, I teased and set them in advance. The eye makeup embraced a reddish-pink palette paired with accentuated blush to fit the character's cute, sweet nature. For headwear, a soft pink baseball cap featured an iridescent holographic brim, flanked on both sides by green plush antler ornaments that caught the venue's overhead lighting with vibrant, multi-dimensional luster.

On the wardrobe side, the deep-brown sleeveless pinafore dress held a relatively crisp, structured silhouette, with multiple square pockets on the front and a slit hemline enhancing its utilitarian cargo feel. The white off-the-shoulder neckerchief across the shoulders was patterned with colorful semicircle motifs, while long white dangling straps on the chest and a purple metallic buckle belt cinched at the waist served as lively accents, keeping the styling from feeling plain. It is worth noting that while the cargo dress fabric is structured, wearing it inside the convention hall in summer was somewhat stuffy, so I took breaks in ventilated spots between takes to keep my makeup intact.

The pink-and-white plush toy held in my arms was a crucial prop for this shoot; it was quite bulky and carried noticeable physical weight. To appear organic before the lens, I explored various stances, including standing, cradling it one-handed, and sitting atop the cylindrical booth pedestal with crossed legs. In the seated shot on the platform, I deliberately showcased the paired white lace-trimmed thigh-high stockings (Stockings) and color-blocked platform sneakers. The texture of the stockings (Stockings) read clearly on camera, creating an eye-catching contrast against the rugged cargo dress. The plushie's exterior resembled knit yarn, making it prone to collecting dust, so I took great care on site to keep it from rubbing against walls or the floor.

Ambient illumination across the convention floor was multifaceted, with the backdrop wall adorned with massive blue lettering, posters, and various Chinese standees. While shooting, I positioned myself to steer clear of messy glare, utilizing the venue's curved LED strip lights as rim lighting. For expression control, slightly tucking my chin and looking straight into the lens, with the cap brim subtly framing my eyes, added an engaging sense of interaction. When striking poses, hand gestures were equally essential—lightly steadying the cap brim or hugging the plushie close to my cheek prevented hands from looking awkward and effectively guided the audience's visual focal point.

It had been quite a while since my last casual event outing, which was back at Bailian. At the Honor of Kings Chess booth, seeing so many passionate fellow fans created a fantastic atmosphere. Lots of players were snapping photos and interacting, which helped me loosen up and pose with greater confidence. Everyone was very orderly and cooperative, making the photoshoot progress smoothly. When another opportunity arises, I hope to shoot more, explore new scenography and chiaroscuro lighting, and continue accumulating photoshoot experience across diverse settings.
