The overall design uses dark green and white as primary tones, paired with signature short white hair, creating high recognition on the convention floor. Cooperating with photographer Wifi went smoothly during the shoot; despite complex hall lighting, they captured illumination expertly to showcase costume textures fully. The twin blades served as the main highlight—one with a black base and white tassels, and the other decorated with silk flowers that softened blade harshness while echoing white crescent motifs on the skirt hem.

Regarding posing, I explored several distinct moods. One involved a crouching blade stance with a low center of gravity that demanded firm finger grips on the hilt to keep balance, proving quite physically demanding. A horizontal blade-holding pose while kneeling on one knee emphasized clean, sharp lines instead. My personal favorite, however, was the cross-legged standing pose with an upright posture, holding one sword downward while grasping the sheath with the other hand—effortlessly supporting strong character presence. These blades carried real weight rather than feeling like flimsy props, requiring core strength to lead arm movements during slashing actions.

Before shooting, I adjusted the collar bow tie and vest button placement repeatedly; because this attire has a complex structure, neglecting layering could easily look bulky. Sleeves on the white shirt were slightly rolled up, paired with mid-calf white socks and black loafers to extend leg silhouettes visually. This ensemble drew warm reception while navigating crowds, earning many candid convention photos from passing fans with great taste. For a gardener setting, cool and decisive composure remains essential, so makeup paired light contact lenses with sharp eyeliner to focus visual attention onto the eyes.

As for the venue, Changsha ACC Anime Convention provided expansive space with dark reflective flooring underground that reflected character inverted shadows under good lighting, enhancing spatial depth. Despite heavy foot traffic and walking crowds in the background, the photographer managed focal length and aperture deftly to blur background crowds, keeping compositions clean. The greatest challenge during convention photography is locating open gaps with ideal lighting amidst vast crowds. Gear-wise, beyond costume construction, styling the silver-white wig took considerable trimming time to ensure bangs didn't obstruct eyes while maintaining a full silhouette. The half-phantom theme inherently drifts between daily reality and fantasy; interpreting this through grounded everyday posing avoided exaggerated anime motions to deliver authentic, natural presence.
