[Youmu Konpaku cosplay] Sword shadows reflected in cherry blossoms, a romantic encounter with Touhou Project

To restore the cold yet agile texture of Youmu Konpaku, I put a lot of careful thought into the color coordination of the clothing this time. The dark green top and pure white cuffs form a sharp contrast, well outlining the character's unique temperament in the Touhou Project world view. Especially the long sword, as the core element of the character, appears particularly steady under light and shadow, forming a contrasting beauty with great tension against the blooming cherry blossoms around. In composition, I chose the best natural background in the cherry blossom season, letting every falling petal become an embellishment in the frame.

As a Cosplayer, what I enjoy most is restoring the character's soul in the appropriate scene. This styling design aims to balance traditional and modern aesthetics, striving to bring fans the most authentic immersion visually. When handling the dynamic capture of the long sword, I paid special attention to the center of gravity and the transition of posture, hoping to convey the unhurried swordsmanship of Youmu. The sword shadow vaguely visible among the flowers is my core pursuit for this work. The texture of the whole outfit is very consistent with the character's original cold feeling, while also incorporating some agile elements from modern aesthetics, hoping to present the most perfect visual effect. Every pleat and accessory embellishment is meant to restore that cold moment belonging to cherry blossoms before the lens. In practice, I tried using different angles to capture the dance of light and the skirt hem, striving to make every moment narrative.
