Cosplaying Entelechia from Arknights (Entelechia cosplay / Arknights cosplay) this time involved extensive fine-tuning of overall styling, makeup, and garment details. Starting with makeup, to capture the character's temperament, I specifically chose intense crimson colored contacts and blended a generous wash of red eyeshadow, paired with a lower eyelid contouring technique to give my gaze deeper intensity. For the lips, I matched a deep berry lipstick, aiming for a cool, alluring, slightly gothic aesthetic across the entire visage.
For the wig, I used a textured black short cut. To recreate that voluminous, slightly tousled layering from the original design, I spent considerable time pinching and setting individual hair strands. The bangs were trimmed into fine, wispy layers partially veiling the right eye, which beautifully framed my face while heightening the character's enigmatic aura.
Costume-wise, the star-patterned fabric of the white sleeveless top features gorgeous texture, giving off a subtle sheen under the lighting. The black scarf at the collar was accented with golden metallic hardware, while the delicate chain draping across the chest served as the crowning touch, swaying gently with every step. For earrings, I chose white floral pendants that echoed the cohesive black, white, and gold color scheme.
The photoshoot was held indoors, featuring studio props like plaster Roman pillars against bright, balanced lighting that avoided overexposure. Because this ensemble is inherently exquisite and refined, I strove to maintain a calm yet tense, poised presence before the camera, avoiding exaggerated poses and primarily relying on my gaze to project the character's demeanor.
In cosplay, faithfulness is paramount—from trimming wigs to selecting accessory materials, every step demands patience. Being able to wrap up this shoot smoothly calls for special thanks to the photographer for wonderful lighting coordination, as well as the support crew for helping adjust the outfit.
