Putting on this Amiya-themed Maid outfit and standing in the sun-drenched kitchen, I instantly entered the daily state of the 'Rhodes Island Kitchen.' This time, I tried an Amiya that is different from her combat version, leaning toward a more lifelike, slightly cute, and capable 'Bunny Maid' look. The hair color and the texture of those Bunny ears are the core of the entire look. Complemented by the ruffles and classic black-and-white color scheme of the Maid outfit, it captures the iconic traits of the anime character while blending into the cute atmosphere of a domestic maid. The lace of the apron and the layering of the skirt hem are very dynamic when moving around. Though the skirt is relatively long, it was quite convenient to manage and didn't hinder my movements with the props. The props in the kitchen scene were very abundant—bread baskets, small iron trays, along with a red-and-yellow omurice model and a ketchup bottle—which gave this shoot very natural focal points for actions. Carrying the tray or holding the bottle both felt reasonable and didn't look like forced posing. Holding up the tray, gripping the squeeze bottle, or gently leaning against the stove counter—these movements were actually simulating a real cooking process, making me feel that the character became more alive here. During the shooting process, the indoor light kept changing. Huge thanks to photographer @Yunjian glow; under the soft natural light, they beautifully restored the skin texture and outfit details, especially that touch of rainbow light reflecting on the hair, giving the entire appearance a wonderful sense of layering. Before preparing this set of photos, I also specially checked Amiya's lore in the original work. Although this is a Maid outfit I put together myself, it still captured her iconic Bunny ears and hair color. The most interesting part of shooting a maid theme is being able to fully play around with the kitchen atmosphere, feeling as if a steaming plate of omurice could be served in the next second. This warm, daily sense is exactly what I want to convey to the Doctors. I hope this different look of Amiya allows everyone to see a slice of the character's life outside of combat.
