[Tewi Inaba Cosplay] Luckily Transforming into This Little Bunny from Touhou Project

This time I cosplayed Tewi Inaba from Touhou Project—the lucky rabbit setting is genuinely adorable. The entire costume features an intricate white-and-pink Lolita style embellished with abundant lace trim and pearl accents; I'm personally quite satisfied with the accuracy of the headpiece's white fluffy trim topped with a tiny orange and green leaves on the side. The wig was cut with thick blunt bangs and Hime side-locks, paired with red contact lenses and intentionally deepened dark-red smudging under the eyes to evoke a slightly yandere yet innocent charm.

The shoot took place inside a car, where natural light filtering through the windows illuminated my face softly; avoiding harsh artificial studio lights actually made skin texture and delicate lace details look remarkably crisp and clean. For makeup, the base was kept light while focusing primarily on eye makeup—red eyeshadow and under-eye tones echoed the character's eye color, complemented by a soft peach lip color to maintain unified harmony throughout the look.

The sleeves of this outfit are exceptionally wide, so during the shoot I loved grabbing the cuffs or resting my chin in my hands, naturally highlighting the outfit's fluffy volume and layered structure. The black leather seat with red stitching inside the car created a strong contrast with the light-colored costume, preventing the composition from feeling too washed out. As a cosplay log, capturing this casual yet expressive atmosphere within an everyday setting was deeply satisfying. While putting on and taking off the costume was a bit cumbersome, all preparations were entirely worth it to faithfully recreate character details. In post-processing, color temperature was subtly adjusted to render skin more translucent while preserving the under-eye red smudging, leaving everything else in its natural texture. Before setting up makeup and styling, I referenced official character illustrations, striving to capture that sly yet endearing vibe of a Cute bunny-eared girl through hairstyle and eye makeup. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable photoshoot—though the interior space was compact, it naturally lent an air of close-up intimacy.
