[Lumine cosplay] The Teyvat Traveler Is Back with Her Sword and Casual Life

Looking at the wig styling I did earlier, I feel I've finally nailed the vibe of Lumine this time. It's not just about having the blonde hair and hair accessories; the true essence of the character lies in her temperament—both resilient and filled with an innocent, youthful charm. To recreate this state, I re-trimmed the layers of the wig to make the hair ends naturally fluffy, while adjusting the angle of wearing it to prevent the wig from looking heavy in front of the lens. For the makeup, it coordinates with Lumine's unique light-colored irises and a clear base makeup, softening any sharpness and emphasizing a gentle, rounded approachability. The costume is the highlight of this casual cosplay; the pattern of the blue-and-white skirt hem and the armored arm-sleeves underwent multiple modifications to ensure a slim fit around the waist while hiding any traces of everyday clothes. This time it was a simple shoot in my bedroom. Although the background is a room covered in posters, it accidentally gave me a slice-of-life feeling, like a Teyvat Traveler who has just stepped onto the continent and is taking a brief rest at an inn. When holding the sword prop, I specifically adjusted my grip posture so that the blade caught the light reflection just right, capturing a traveler's routine that feels ready for action. Every time I shoot a cosplay of a different character, the experience is incredibly interesting because it's more than just changing clothes and putting on a wig; it feels like understanding and portraying a piece of an alternate world life in a short period of time. Switching seamlessly from the 'Wa' junior and 'Go' senior roles back to the Genshin Impact traveler feels both familiar and fresh. With the props and styling carefully prepared for this session, I hope to present Lumine's cheerful and slightly tsundere, cute traits.
