I've compiled this set of Genshin Impact Columbina Cosplay photos today to share with everyone. In the early prep stages for this shoot, what required the most effort was grasping that ethereal, otherworldly temperament of the character, as well as how to materialize that mythic silhouette from the original artwork.

Let's start with the wig. This time, the wig utilized a black base paired with red-violet gradient highlights; the color transition had to look completely natural. To recreate the layered hair tips of Columbina, I asked the tailor to adjust the dyeing finish twice before achieving the soft, natural sheen seen in the photos. During styling, I specially created a few stray locks to frame my face, which, combined with the white-feathered cross headpiece, immediately defined a high skull-contour structure.

For makeup, I opted for very light-colored contact lenses to soften the focal point of my pupils, creating a look that feels detached from reality and even slightly otherworldly. The eye makeup avoided broad cut-creases or intense colors, using flesh-pink glitter and eyeliner to elongate the eye shape, making the overall facial contour look gentle and ethereal. For the eyebrows, I slightly lowered the inner ends to give a more innocent look, while applying a matte milk-tea pink shade to the lips, harmonizing smoothly with the white and blue tones of the outfit.

Costume design-wise, this dress is truly the soul of the entire set. Overall, it incorporates extensive pure white and sky-blue semi-transparent tulle, with interweaving layers between the lining and outer skirt. The neckline features a unique white bow stand collar paired with an off-the-shoulder cut, which not only highlights the collarbones but also makes the lines of the head, neck, and shoulders flow seamlessly. The sleeves are detachable, wrapped with white bandage-style straps around the wrists, and every accessory is firmly secured so there was no worry of shifting during motion. The chest badge, composed of blue-violet petals and gold trim, is exceptionally delicate—a true iconic finishing touch for the character.

The skirt section is truly "full of volume." As you can feel in photos two and three, this multi-tiered skirt paired with an inner blue support structure creates an excellent three-dimensional silhouette, yet because the tulle fabric itself is extremely lightweight, it displays incredibly fluid layers during dynamic snapshots. The light-blue geometric line prints on the skirt edges are also very refined; whether standing still or spinning, they exhibit a rich, flowing hierarchy.

To fit the theme of Columbina's "Blessing of the Moonlight," I specifically chose an indoor venue with pure white Gothic arches and hollowed stained-glass windows. This is a venue that relies heavily on light, but by using a high-key bright white photographic technique, soft natural light was diffusely reflected through the windows, creating an exceptionally clean, holy atmosphere. Under this lighting environment, the ice-blue tulle on the costume seemed to genuinely glow.

The shooting process was by no means easy. To capture the dynamic effect of the skirt flying in photo three, we worked with multiple fans blowing at once. Light tulle fabric entangles easily, so after each pose or movement, we had to spend dozens of seconds untangling the scattered veil layers before quickly capturing three to five shots to prevent excessive reflections or messy textures. To maintain that otherworldly, serene gaze, I not only had to face the strong wind from the fans continuously but also keep my posture and hand movements relaxed and graceful. For instance, the subtle hand-raising pose in photo one was held across several breaths so that every finger appeared both elegant and relaxed.

Although completing this photoshoot was exhausting, the final image quality ended up remarkably consistent. That sense of transparency and weightlessness, combined with the character's pure yet mysterious aura, turned out to be a faithful recreation in my view. In terms of details, the white feather wings of the headpiece, the wrist bandages, and every line in the fabric folds were crafted with maximum effort to align with the original design. The joy of the process was seeing how the lighting hit the veil in post-processing, refracting magical colors. While preserving these styling details, I hope this Cosplay sharing brings you a unique visual experience of a Girl in a white veil from various perspectives in Genshin Impact.
