[Unicorn Cosplay] Azur Lane Seaside Dream, Refreshing Summer Vibes

This time, I shot the "Seaside Dream" swimsuit look for Unicorn from Azur Lane, which fit the summer atmosphere perfectly. The whole shoot was very enjoyable, with props and set designs centered around a water vacation theme. To faithfully recreate the character's temperament, I wore a violet wig paired with matching color contact lenses, aiming for a transparent, gentle makeup look that highlights her youthful innocence and tenderness. A lot of thought went into selecting the materials for this white off-the-shoulder swimsuit. To achieve the lightweight, slightly translucent visual effect shown in the photos, we chose a specific weight of mesh fabric. This not only ensured comfort while wearing but also gave the skirt and ruffles an airier, floating look. The golden clover metal buckle on the chest and the lace trim on the neck were also key details in capturing the character accurately. The set arrangement was done with great care: beyond the blue-and-white striped backdrop and fishing nets, there were pink-and-white inflatable swim rings, a lifebuoy printed with "ABOARD", and starfishes and glass cups on the tabletop that added a touch of everyday life. For the final shots, I tried compositions like sitting inside the swim ring holding a pink water gun, as well as holding the swim ring over my head. These interactions brought a sense of playful summer water fun to the static photos. Since the character is quiet and introverted by design, I consciously controlled my expressions during this swimsuit shoot, keeping them soft and relaxed to showcase another side of her during her leisure time. The lighting in these photos is bright and soft, with an overall color palette favoring dreamy, sweet shades of pink, blue, and white, aiming to recreate a healing coastal world. As an attempt at anime-style photography with a swimsuit theme, I hope this set conveys a light, refreshing summer breeze.
