Sharing these Convention photo shots directly! This set was specifically taken to capture the cool-toned atmosphere of Zenless Zone Zero's New Eridu. Although the on-site lighting on the day of the shoot was somewhat messy, the cold blue light reflecting off the metal railings unexpectedly matched Yixuan's calm, aloof aura. In terms of outfit coordination, the combination of a dark jacket and white shorts visually elongates body proportions, while the sheer Stocking outfit and glossy black high heels elevate the overall elegance. The dark hair accessory with fluttering ribbons creates dynamic motion when caught by the wind or during movement, keeping the entire styling lively and engaging.

Finding the right shooting angles took quite a bit of thought. In the first seated shot straddling the blue metal high stool, with my right leg bent resting on the rung and left leg extending forward naturally, the composition fully accentuates the leg lines and texture of the stockings, conveying a relaxed posture that remains in complete, ready-to-strike control. For the second standing shot, I held the blue card prop and pointed straight at it with my index finger; coordinating my gaze with the hand gesture added a stronger sense of narrative. These Convention photo shoots really test how well you utilize the environment: with railings and blurred light spots in the background, finding the right camera position to use those bokeh accents creates much richer layers than a simple studio shoot.

The biggest challenge of this cosplay was maintaining character composure in an area filled with passing pedestrians, but on-site staff helped clear the space briefly, allowing us to capture these clean shots. The contrast of cool blue tones and ground reflections brought out the costume textures and shadow details clearly. Accessory reflections and the patent finish of the high heels were captured brilliantly under the photographer's lens. The costume features wide, loose sleeves, so even a slight breeze during posing added a graceful, flowing aesthetic to the cuffs.

I've done cosplays of various characters before, but Yixuan—blending a sci-fi touch with mysterious, cool elegance—was a first for me. The key to portraying such a character isn't just having on-point costumes and props, but projecting a calm, confident poise through the eyes. I personally love the dark hair accessory and the flipped ahoge detail, which add lively charm to an otherwise sharply structured look. I wonder if you can feel the chilly lighting ambiance of the venue when viewing these two convention photos; beyond fitting into the outfit, blending seamlessly into the environment is crucial. The blue ambient lights and white metal guardrails on-site formed a distinct cyber-scifi aesthetic that matched the outfit's tone perfectly.

Lastly, a few practical takeaways from the shoot: walking on convention floors in high heels and stockings takes some getting used to, but to faithfully recreate the character traits, these accessories are indispensable. Getting great shots relies not only on the photographer's keen eye for light, but also on varying your own posing angles—for example, the leg extension in Photo 1 and the finger gesture in Photo 2 were both aimed at expressing the character's calm, collected personality. I hope you enjoy this Convention photo set, and I look forward to growing further in my cosplay journey while exploring many more diverse character styles.
