Shooting on location by the sea this time, I tried to use the lens to capture that unique texture of Ye Shunguang—cool yet with a hint of determination. As a character in Zenless Zone Zero, Ye Shunguang gives me the impression of coexistence between elegance and strength; therefore, I am very particular about details in the makeup and styling restoration. Especially that highly recognizable touch of red embellishment and the skirt design moving with the sea breeze are all in pursuit of the character's dynamic beauty. During the shooting process, the flow of light and shadow created a wonderful intertwining of reality and illusion for the character within the authentic natural landscape. From the blending of the eyeshadow to the texture of the accessories, every polished detail is meant to better integrate into this grand worldview. I am not just completing a simple styling, but pondering how to use visual language to express the character's inner emotions.
