[Rem cosplay] Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World, Meow-Meow at icos Today

Shooting this set of photos was actually quite spontaneous. Originally, I just wanted to test how this short wig with a blue hair style looked with white hair accessories, but unexpectedly, the texture captured under natural in-car lighting turned out extremely soft. The wig used is a glossy light blue short cut with subtle glitter mixed into the strands, giving fine sparkly reflections under sunlight. It's slightly different from the cold tone in the original setting, but I trimmed the bangs myself so they just cover my right eye, highlighting a mysterious yet innocent single-eye look. The white X-shaped hair clips are securely fixed, and the feather ear ornaments on both sides are lightweight so they don't flatten the wig or get crooked during shooting. As for makeup, the base was kept very clean, with focus placed on the eyes. Large-diameter lake blue contact lenses serve as the soul of this look, paired with downturned eyeliner at the outer corners and blush heavily blended across the lower eyelids, creating a slightly tipsy or post-cry atmosphere with a subtle angelic style charm—a makeup style that requires smooth eyeshadow transitions to avoid looking messy. Lip color was chosen as a matte rose bean-paste shade, harmonizing nicely with the overall white, blue, and red color scheme. The huge white bow on the outfit is actually the most striking part of this look, made of silk-like material with multiple pleats and a lace trim around the collar. Sitting in the car, I adjusted my angle slightly so the ribbon and feather ear accessories balanced each other out without looking top-heavy. Photo 4 is my favorite composition: resting my hand at my chin with a natural shoulder line, framed by the black leather car seat behind me without messy background distractions. For me, doing cosplay is not just about restoring appearance, but more importantly capturing the character's demeanor—like when subtly pursing lips or gazing vacantly into space, which better conveys the emotion I want to express. Taking a few candid shots at icos this time without forced poses made everything feel much more vivid. Wearing contact lenses for a long time can get a bit dry, so I rehydrated my eyes several times, and the wig got slightly messy from leaning sideways, but I'm still very satisfied with the overall result. Looking back at these photos, the synergy between makeup, hair, and costume met my expectations; the only small regret is not pairing it with her iconic props, but since this shoot focuses on close-up portraits, as long as the details are on point, that's what matters.
