[Iuno cosplay] Wuthering Waves Lunar cycle pose reference

The second shoot for the Lunar cycle theme, bringing Iuno's styling from Wuthering Waves once again. The overall design continues the core concept of the last time, but makes some new attempts in clothing details and action performance.
The white-and-gold metallic textured breastplate is paired with a white pleated miniskirt, along with a translucent blue gauze train, making the overall layering very distinct. To restore the blue hair gradient effect of Iuno's twin tails, the wig underwent extensive combing and styling work before the shoot. The golden leaf headpiece and collar needed to be fixed in specific positions to prevent shifting during wide movements. In terms of makeup, the focus was placed on the bright blue colored contacts and the red blending around the eyes, with the base makeup kept as clean and translucent as possible to fit the visual style of a 2D character.
This time, a HASSELBLAD X2D 100C paired with an XCD 90V lens was used, combined with a Broncolor lighting array for the studio shoot. This set of equipment has extremely high analytical power for details, clearly capturing the lightness of the clothing fabric and the texture of the metal parts. To showcase the luster of the white-and-gold clothing, a large softbox was used during lighting, while rim lighting was added on the side to enhance the character's three-dimensional sense. Metal parts are prone to excessive reflection under strong light, so direct points were avoided in camera placement, utilizing softboxes to outline the curves of the metal, ensuring that facial shadows are soft without losing layering.
The shooting process was not as relaxed as the final photos make it look. The high-slit skirt hem and the crisscross straps on the legs limited the range of motion to a certain extent; when posing in sitting or side-lying postures, core strength was needed to maintain body balance and smooth lines. The action of placing a finger by the lips looks casual, but in reality, to find the best light-and-shadow angle and emotional tension, the wrist angle and gaze direction were repeatedly adjusted on-site, attempting to strike a balance between coldness and allure.
The blue gauze train tests snapshot timing greatly during standing postures, as the effect of the fabric swinging or naturally draping needs to fall precisely within the lens. Wearing the metal gauntlets and the golden thigh ring also required prior fittings to confirm positions, avoiding frequent adjustments during the shoot that would break the rhythm. Based on pose references, minor adjustments tailored to the characteristics of this outfit were added, such as utilizing a side-lying posture to better showcase leg lines and skirt layering. The overall tone maintained a clean cool color scheme, highlighting the texture of the character and clothing, and the final photos achieved the expected results.
