Bringing this Wuthering Waves Aemeath photoshoot to fruition took over half a month from early preparations to the final selects. During the test fitting, to faithfully recreate this white sci-fi combat suit, I communicated extensively with the costume designer regarding the balance between metal hardware and gradient fabrics. The top is crafted from form-fitting white fabric spliced with matte black textile, centered with a starry blue-purple gradient bow on the chest, flanked by textured heart-shaped gems and metallic filigree trims. A bodysuit like this places high demands on posture—any slight slouching creates bulk, so I underwent dedicated posture training for several days prior to shooting.

The wig was a waist-length pastel pink piece. To achieve the elevated crown braid styling, multiple padding inserts were layered inside; combined with the light-blue circular headband and star embellishments, the headpiece carried substantial weight. For makeup, I chose light amber contact lenses, emphasized diffused lower eyeshadow, and swept peachy-pink blush across the cheeks to breathe lively warmth into the otherwise frosty armor aesthetic.

Regarding props, the sword was easily the heaviest element of the entire shoot. The metallic relief carving on the hilt and the illuminated edge of the blade were crafted with stunning finesse, though holding it aloft for poses burned significant stamina. Throughout the shoot, photographer Yu Fan continually calibrated camera angles and lighting setups. Because the costume is predominantly white, setting it against a white filigree screen and blue floral clusters risked overexposure and tricky contrast ratios. Thanks to the thoughtful strobe positioning on set, the final lighting not only preserved every fabric nuance, but also brought out rich, layered textures. To embody the First Little Tyrant of the Ice Field concept, I explored a wide spectrum of postures: standing poses emphasized sheer intimidation with a direct gaze into the lens alongside the drawn blade; seated or crouching poses focused on elongating bodily curves, allowing the metallic thigh bands and garter straps to flatteringly contour leg lines. Dispensing with stockings, the bare skin directly met the metal leg bands and white knee-high boots, highlighting an exquisite synthesis of kinetic strength and sci-fi aesthetics.

The session flowed seamlessly, backed by the crew's meticulous set building. Carved filigree arches, crystal chandeliers, and carpets strewn with pastel blooms harmonized flawlessly with the outfit's opulence. By the final few sets, I had fully keyed into the character's balance of delicate beauty and overwhelming dominance, letting movements flow with organic kinetic tension. From the flare of the shoulder armor as arms raised to the intense camera lock while gripping the sword with both hands, every sequence sought to balance regal grandeur with battle-ready grit. This sci-fi anime fusion demands precise bodily control to let the rigid armored silhouettes and flowing tulle skirts shine at their absolute peak simultaneously. Yu Fan demonstrated razor-sharp instincts in snapping dynamic frames, preserving the genuine metallic sheen under the lights while keeping contrast between skin and wardrobe exquisitely balanced. The final selects preserved the authentic atmosphere of the set, and my heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire team for their relentless attention to detail.
