From the initial styling prep to the physical studio execution, the entire journey of this Odette set was dedicated to recreating that serene, ethereal fantasy texture. The wig was specifically chosen in an ash-tinted pale baby blue, styled with intricate braids and an updo along the crown, finished with textured bangs across the forehead. Topped with white wing-shaped tiaras and inlaid sapphire jewels, the foundational facial silhouette was set. For makeup, purple-blue contact lenses were selected to honor character lore, complemented by soft reddish-pink eyeshadow blended around the eyes and a natural nude lip, keeping skin tone looking crystal-clear under cool illumination.
Costume details demanded considerable care. The jewel-blue fabric of the bodice features woven damask jacquard textures that reflect subtle shimmer under shifting light, spliced against delicate white sheer chiffon over the chest to form crisp layers. The white fluffy fur trim around the collar and the golden filigree choker served as the visual focal points; to ensure they stayed perfectly aligned during posing, their positions were adjusted repeatedly before shooting. The flared white detached sleeves and deep-navy opera gloves are adorned with golden motifs—this sharp tonal contrast makes the arms appear slender and graceful. The skirt boasts a multi-layered blue-and-white construct; its satin outer layer catches glare easily, requiring constant smoothing of the folds.
The set featured a white wrought-iron filigree bench set before luminous openwork screens and abundant blue-and-white floral arrangements. A plush, pure white faux-fur rug was layered across the floor, strewn with fallen blue petals. The overarching lighting embraced high-key cool light with gentle rim lighting carving out figure contours—a lighting setup that strictly tests skin condition while cultivating a spellbinding fairytale mood.
In terms of posing, I explored varied seated postures to best flatter the gown's architectural cut. The relaxed side-seated pose in the first photo showcases the drape of the skirt while naturally extending the legs to lengthen visual proportions. Paired with white Stockings and white stilettos, it offered a seamless transition within the blue-and-white palette, keeping lines clean and elegant. To soften the metal edges of the wrought-iron bench, I tilted my torso slightly toward the lens while raising one hand to gently caress the hairpiece.
In the third and fourth photos, sitting on the plush rug holding a white rose bouquet allowed the skirt to fan out organically, though care was needed to prevent awkward creasing. The golden patterns on the deep-navy gloves echoed the golden accessories across the bodice. Even in relaxed seated postures, I kept my back erect with light core engagement to maintain poised, slender lines. The photographer cycled through multiple angles—from half-body close-ups to full-length frames—to capture every nuance of garment detail and set design. The session required continuous adaptation: the iron bench was somewhat stiff, calling for shifts in weight, while the bouquet angle had to be held precisely so as not to obstruct the chest embroidery. The resulting frames maintain unified, harmonious color grading, marrying ethereal fantasy with the character's enchanting sweetness.
