[Columbina Cosplay] Angel Halo and White Ribbons: A Fan-made Design Girl from Genshin Impact

This time, I chose a pure white angel theme to interpret the young girl Columbina from Genshin Impact, attempting a styling combination based on my own fan-made design. There is a reason for the OOC (Out of Character) apology mentioned in the title: players are already highly familiar with the official character settings, and this style is not a complete replica of the official version. Instead, it incorporates a secondary creation based on personal aesthetics, hoping to find a common ground in this soft and gentle temperament.

The overall visual tone is set within a highly clean and translucent pure white atmosphere. The background of the frame is laid with a highly textured white plush carpet, while standing behind me is a massive, handmade 3D white paper-craft wing prop. Although the production process required a lot of effort to adjust the angles and support, pairing it with the fine-furred halo on top ultimately succeeds in visually creating an otherworldly Angel-style cosplay vibe.

For the clothing, I selected a soft cream-white slip dress; the skirt hem has a beautiful drape, and the lace fabric accenting the neckline adds to the youthful girl vibe. To match the "angel" fan-made design theme, I specially incorporated extensive detail design on the legs, using long, slender white ribbons to create multi-layered criss-cross bindings around the knees, calves, and ankles. This white lace-up outfit creates scattered lines that not only elongate the leg proportions but also bring a vibrant breathability to the pure white character styling. Pursuing ultimate lightness and ethereal beauty, I chose to stand barefoot on a deep blue square gift box; the collision of color blocks forms a certain serene comfort while echoing the white glowing moon lamp in my hand for the composition.

Regarding the choice of photography method, this time I used a smartphone for a mirror selfie, maintaining a certain distance and choosing to hide my face. This was intended to focus more attention on the overall styling and prop presentation. Since it was a self-built set combined with the soft illumination of indoor pure white lights, the model's skin texture was enhanced to look very soft. The entire set of photos avoids strong contrasts between light and dark, instead utilizing high-key lighting to emphasize the purity and emptiness of the angel theme, creating a subtle dreamy soft-focus effect as part of my Cosplay daily share.

Although the mirror selfie technique is simple, the shooting process actually heavily tests physical coordination. Holding the phone with one hand while keeping the other hand elegant as it cradles the glowing moon lamp, and simultaneously adjusting the exposure angle of the legs to ensure the white lace-up outfit is shown off to its maximum extent, truly took quite a lot of time to repeatedly find the right angles.

Although there aren't many props, every detail works hard for the overall atmosphere. For instance, that white moonlight sphere is actually a night light with a soft built-in lighting effect, which creates an excellent ambience when cooperating with reflections in a slightly dimmer environment. And though that deep blue square box is just a simple prop, it happens to constitute a visual center of gravity for color within the massive white environment, making the composition at the bottom look more grounded.

Although I overreached this time by attempting a fan-made design style—and some areas might differ from the original work, which is why I marked an OOC apology in the text—this remains a highly meaningful cosplay attempt.
